Enough reboots of the popular old shows. Reboot the unpopular old shows. Give it another chance. If the new one sucks as much as the old, at least it fits in, but there's a chance it could be good this time.

OR... maybe the old show wasn't unpopular because it sucked. Maybe it was ahead of its time. Maybe it was overshadowed by The Major Fandom Thing. Maybe the corporate executives screwed it over for stupid reasons. Maybe it deserves a second chance.

This happened with Newsies! When the movie came out, it was considered a flop, but when Disney put out a poll asking what old movies should get a remake, they discovered the movie had become a cult classic and so made it into a broadway show which was amazing as fuck and even after all these years, I have the songs stuck in my head!
