Happy Sunday friends!! It’s time for another cosplay this time inspired by one of my all time favorite ladies, Audrey Rose Wadsworth!! I came into this series a little bit late but fell head over heels in love with it!! The characters are still some of my favorites and I love all the mystery solving!! Plus I am all about forensics and science!! I also am super lucky to have met Kerri Maniscalco twice and she is the sweetest woman EVER!!! She has quickly become an auto buy author for me!! Fun fact about this photo my Grandpa (who I was super close with) was a dentist but he had these two super old medical books that I got when he passed away. They are two of my most precious books and every time I see them I think of him. The book I’m holding in this photo is one of them! And yes that is a real scalpel! Definitely almost cut myself a time or two with it! I got extra lucky last night and got called off work!!! It was so wonderful and I went to bed early!! I was super late reading this series but it’s so incredible!!! I remember binge reading it in a couple days because I had to know what was going to happen next!! Plus I loooooves the two main characters, one of whom is a fae and suuuuuper attractive!! It quickly became a favorite and I definitely recommend it!! It’s such a unique story with fighting evil faeries, friends to lovers annnnd some steampunk thrown in!! Such a great combo!! Well that weekend flew by!! I have a couple days off then it’s back to work but I’m going to use that time to hopefully finish the Lux series cause I am addicted!! I also looooove @illumicrate collectible tins! They are so useful for holding all sorts of things and look so gorgeous on a bookshelf!! I loved Percy Jackson when it first came out so I was hesitant about the Heroes of Olympus when it was announced. I was excited for more Percy and Annabeth but nervous about going back into this world with new characters too. But Rick did not let us down (he never has) and I looooved this series just as much as the first!! I have been waiting FOREVER to post this cosplay photo!! This is my family dog Delilah, but we all call her Lu or LuLu. She’s a rescue and a Cairn Terrier (aka Toto but lighter in color) so of course I had to do a Dorothy cosplay with her!!! Despite how happy she looks in this photo, she wasn’t super happy with the amount of times we had to take this photo but absolutely loooooved all the treats she got!! Happy Tuesday friends!! Now I’m not mad but I am definitely disappointed in my bookstagram friends because why did no one tell me how AMAZING Jennifer Armentrout is?!? I feel like I’ve been living under a rock to only just be discovering her now!!! I have talked many a times about my love for From Blood and Ash but hands down the best book of the year so far has been A Kingdom of Flesh and Fire. It left me speechless and shocked and wrecked me (in the very best way of course)!! I was also lucky enough to receive some amazing items from @socialbutterfly_pr so make sure to swipe on my photo to see all the amazing goodies associated with this book!! I may have teared up a bit when I saw there was a map!!! I definitely recommend this VERY adult series to everyone because it’s steamy and beautiful and just perfection!!
