I don’t have the audio for Tristan’s line for Gareth but just letting you know that it’s breaking my heart. Especially since it’s related to Camelot/Zero and the Camelot Singularity.

In Camelot/Zero, Gareth was one of the only knights that sided with the Lion King alongside Tristan, Gawain, Lancelot, Mordred, and Agravain, most likely as a result of her guilt for being unable to help Artoria at Camlann. She ended up becoming so distressed and traumatized by the process that she feverishly washed her hands to ‘purify’ them until her fingers were raw and black. This is important because in Gareth’s legend, her hands were noted by the other knights (mainly Sir Kay) to be incredibly fair, which earned her the nickname ‘Beaumains’ as she trained as a squire under Lancelot and worked as a kitchen page in Camelot.
Eventually, she became so distressed that she ended up sacrificing her life and forcing Gawain to kill her in order to defeat the Crusaders and essentially have him perform a ‘mercy killing’ on his own little sister.
The Chaldean KoTR remember ‘their’ actions in the Camelot Singularity and feel immensely guilty over it, shown in Tristan’s interlude and Gawain’s ‘Nightless Charisma’ buff, which represents how he feels eternal shame from ‘his’ acts in Camelot and the skill is a way for him to burn it into his spirit origin so he’ll never forget.
So basically, Tristan is apologizing to Gareth for everything she went through in the Camelot Singularity, but she doesn’t seem to remember it as clearly as he does.
