Concept of Elliott trying to romance a very dense Farmer. The farmer just thinks he's different in terms of expressing himself. Any time he sends the most romantic poem or rests a gentle hand on theiŕ shoulder the farmer only takes it as a friendly gesture. Worst of all, the farmer may mimic is actions or thinks his poems are the most beautiful pieces of literature they had ever read and it just frustrates Elliott to the point that he realizes words alone simply are not working.

Just... thinking about these panels

Isn’t it interesting how... relaxed he seems to be around Wind? like they talk about how relaxed he is at Lon Lon but his body language and expressions and speech patterns here remind me of then. Not quite the same, but similar.

And the way he talks with Wind too-- he shows interest in Wind’s tools and abilities and encourages him to talk about them, and compliments his skill, makes sure to note how he continues to grow and improve, and express his pride and confidence in Wind.
