well, my answers change every day depending on which ep i have just seen but these are todays!

prophet and loss.

Look at our babys faaaace. I know this ep was hard for Jared but he totally KILLED IT!!! The emotion and devastation, which had been building up over the last couple of eps just overflowed here. This was an amazing pay off. So much genuine grief. ugh i love it.

red meat.

I LOVE ep's when Sam is a freaking bad ass, i love angst, and Sam is freaking awesome!!!! He would not. give. up. Also, why does he look so gorgeous. whhhyyyy.

born under a bad sign

meep! This was so not our Sam. I knew Jared was a good actor, obvs, but this was the first ep that i that whoa, this guy can do anything. Including be bad af. It was only subtle but on rewatch you can see, it's not quite Sam. Masterful. and Jared was only 24 years old.

Just My imagination

How our giant 6'5" Sam, managed to make us see the sweet child inside, is beyond me, also he is wearing pyjamas. I loved that Sully adored Sam. Me too.

Carry on

The fact that Sam, in one episode, went from Shirtless, jogging, contented Sam, to devastated and hopeless, then to see him aging 40 years or so, carrying on, until he makes it home. Well done sir.
