Ceres saving Children from their abusive homes, is one of many stories they got untold, yet I suddenly saw a parallel between her and The piper, but she would never harm them.

Seeing FE Exire reminded me I made a few FE OCs for the Tellius series so I wanted to bring ‘em back to use for Exire because why not :’D

This is Kemma, a traveling mercenary/swordswoman, age 27. She’s a Branded, the result of a Laguz Lioness mother and Beorc father who eloped together and lived peacefully in a town on the outskirts of Crimea and had a child together. They knew the consequences of having a Branded child, and the kind of life they’d have afterwards, but were so devoted to each other that it wouldn’t matter, and that they would raise their child with love all the same, and go through any and all hardships together.

However, that never came to be. Anti-Laguz groups came across the happy family one day and slaughtered the couple, who managed to hide their daughter away before being killed. Forced to watch the whole event, and being the sole survivor, Kemma vowed vengeance on those who killed her parents, and on those who hated Laguz in general. She was taken to an orphanage and spent most of her life there up until the age of 18 where she was kicked out. Her time at the orphanage was tough, mainly due to the fact that her Brand was so easily seen, and the other children, being ignorant or just not acceptining in general, picked on her often. She had no friends, not even the staff cared much about her. Due to this she has terrible self esteem and has problems trusting others at all.

After leaving the orphanage she became the apprentice of a swordsmaster living in Crimea who taught her everything she needed to know about the way of the sword. He was the only parental figure in her life that she truly loved and looked up to. However, the man fell ill around when Kemma was 26 and in order to get the money to pay for his medicine, Kemma became a mercenary.

She’s a quiet girl for the most part, and ridiculously shy due her past years of peer bullying. However don’t let her meek demeanor fool you, she’s a peerless swordswoman who won’t hesitate to cut you down if you are her foe. Currently she is traveling the continent for work. She won’t accept any job however, as she has a personal moral code: No killing of innocents, children or Laguz. In all honesty, she wants true peace and acceptance between the two races.

Her Branded mark is on the left side of her neck.
