i hc that chrom and robin are THE most embarrassing dads ever. like they’ve both always been sad that they missed out on lucina’s childhood so they try to do those things with her but just accidentally end up embarressing her horribly

like lucina is preparing to leave ylisstol armed to the teeth to go repel invading pirates or something and crocs-wearing robin shows up like “oh before you go luci don’t forget your lunchbox :) i put more pegasus stickers on it :) and i left you a little note :) and now here’s a hug from dad! OH and your other dad asked me to give u a hug from him :) be safe” and she’s just like “i am 27 years old”

Headcanon: Lazy Mornings With Claude Would Be Like...

Claude would love to have downtime with you. He will make any excuse to stay in with you in the morning.

Claude likes to hold you close while still half asleep. He wants to have you by his side and be able to feel your heartbeat and listen to your breathing.

Claude would want to have breakfast with you in bed. Sometimes Claude wouldn't let either of you get up, so breakfast would become brunch.

Claude would shower you with kisses. Anywhere he could reach without moving too much would be covered in kisses.

Claude would spoil you. He would do whatever you say so that you wouldn't have to lift a finger. He wouldn't want to do too much, though.

If you had to go and do something. Claude would make any excuse for you not to go. He would want you to stay with him for as long as possible.

Claude is a pretty relaxed guy. He knows he has responsibilities, but he doesn't see anything wrong with taking some time to relax and spend it with you.

Claude isn't really a lazy person but staying in bed all day with you is very appealing to him even though you two can't do it very often.

Lazy mornings usually turn into lazy days. Both of you are very busy, but Claude thinks it is essential to have time for just the two of you, even if it means losing a whole day of work.

Just me quietly building a little makeshift theory that Hubert and Edelgard are mainly sparing House Gloucester because Ferdinand is friends with Lorenz. Edelgard would love to cut them down or at least cast them aside, like Shez suggests, but she's not. Hubert advises everyone to take the members of the house alive if possible.

Yeah, there are convenient tactical reasons to keep them alive, but I wanna dream a dream where it's Ferdinand's feelings that get them to show mercy.

As always with Hubert, the details are everything. There's a reason they have him facing away from the camera for talking about this, even though you have his headshot in the corner to convey expression. This is something Hubert doesn't like to face, even though he wanted to exact revenge against his father. Not confronting his father's possible innocence is a big part of Hubert's feelings on him, because they are conflicting and complex.

I don't think he has any reservations about killing his father, honestly. But there are a lot of hurt feelings surrounding his dad that requires more self-reflection and healing than Hubert frankly has time for during the war and all the years leading up to it. So he pushes it off, buries those feelings deep, and refuses to face them.

Hence... The camera behind him. It's a lovely little scrap I've read into for my own delight and I hope you enjoy the three paragraphs too.

This is boi is NERVOUS

Before he takes you out, he seeks advice from some of his classmates *coughDorotheacough*

Of course Dorothea is going to tease the poor guy, but she can't help but smile at Ferdie

"You can calm down, Ferdie. They already said yes, the hard part is over"

She tries to get him relaxed before the date because Ferdinand was 5 seconds away from fainting

He still is about to faint tbh

Being the gentleman he is, he'd show up with a bouquet of flowers

Ferdinand attempts to pick flowers that mean love and devotion, but he honestly has no clue what goes together and he's running out of TIME

In the end he gathered some white jasmine (sweet love), iris (wisdom and respect), and finally Red tulips (a declaration of love)

Once he gives his s/o the flowers, he watches their face intently to determine how they feel about them

A weight is lifted off his shoulders when his s/o smiles and scurried to find a vase to put them in

He'd try and plan the perfect date for his s/o, but in the end they just end up horseback riding around the monastery

On the trail, Ferdinand spots some more flowers and tries to impress his s/o by telling them what their meaning is

The two stop and get off their horses so Ferdinand can point more flowers

While Ferdinand was speaking his s/o snuck a lilac (first emotions of love) behind his left ear (people who wear a flower behind their left ear means they are taken!)

Ferdinand was taken aback

"Do you know what this means?!"

His s/o nods and smiles

He can't help himself from hugging them a little too tightly

The rest of the night is spent on the trail, talking about everything and anything

The two soon found that they both had similar interests but at the same time never felt bored around each other

Every date from then on one of them would bring the other flowers and explain the meanings and why they chose them

AH! I absolutely love this mans as you can probably tell from everything about me. But I love writing for him, he's such a sweetheart
