Got inspired by the novel's art to draw my version of the escape from Renais, Orson cursing the day he was knighted and Ephraim thinking of raising his salary -if they survived-

Then kidnapping Arc happens, I wrote a fic of it if you're interested: The sun's oath.

Yes, even in a role swap AU, Orson is still holding both pettiness and respect -to some extent- towards Seth.

pairing: seth x gn!reader

a/n: literally fell in love with this man 5 seconds into the game! his A support with eirika made me love him even more (& inspired this)!

seth loved you more than anyone else in this world. you were the most precious person to him, the one he vowed to protect – which was why he knew he couldn't date you!

you were royalty and he was simply the man that protected you. you should never have even gotten attached to him, as seth should be able to die for you any time!

and yet, you fell in love with seth, just as he madly fell in love with you…

you tried to make your feelings for seth as clear as you could, even telling seth that you loved him. but seth had to reject you every time, knowing that a knight like him wasn't allowed to fall in love with the royalty he was protecting

that didn't mean that seth wasn't happy to hear you confess to him. he loved you more than anyone else in this world and if only he could, he'd openly reciprocate your feelings!

though even seth had his moments of weakness, where he can't hide his feelings for you. moments where he gently caresses your face and softly smiles at you, only to realize what he just did and pull away, returning to his stoic knightly self

seth often wondered what life would be like if things were different for the two of you. if he was a noble man or if you were a commoner. perhaps then he could allow himself to love you…
