X-Femslash Fridays!

What is 'X-Femslash Friday'?

X-Femslash Friday is a weekly celebration of femslash (f/f, wlw, etc) pairings involving x-men characters!

Each week, there will be various prompts for people to use for their posts! You can stict to those prompts or just use your own ideas - it's entirely up to you!

The rules

on Fridays, post about femslash pairings containing at least one x-men character! Art, fics, drabbles, edits, collages, headcanons, etc - we'd love to see it all!

tag us via our @x-femslash in your post and/or use the tag '#x-femslash friday'! you can also add your fics to our ao3 collection!

be nice! don't be any sort of bigoted

no genderbending guys for this! the whole point is to focus on women!

I had a dream of something called FemSlash Friday where every Friday there was a new prompt where anyone could write, draw, or even just post about a femslash ship to promote more femslash content.

If it doesn't exist then I guess I'll need to be the change I want to see in the world and create it myself (I might need a little bit of help with this initially).

If it does exist, great! No point in reinventing something that already exists. Please let me know so I can join in to the best of my abilities and promote.

I'm new to fem slash and after seeing some posts about the abysmal ratio of different slash types I figured that I should make an effort to consume and eventually contribute to more f/f, wlw, and fem slash fandom. It's a complicated issue with a lot of factors out of our control but we can still make an impact and try some things to help. I'm learning to write and draw (it's slow going as I'm trying to build confidence and skill) as well as looking for some wlw and f/f media and ships that I can get excited about and connect with (recommends of your faves are also welcome).

Just spent all day binging season one of 'Kevin Can F**k Himself' I got pitched a more adult 'John Tucker Must Die' not a better Wandavision with slight Killing Eve vibes and a femslash slow burn 'classic toxic codependent high school female friendship makes you realize you're very queer except you're actually 33 so it's kind of awkward' coming out storyline.

8/10, would recommend so far but do appreciate a slower burn. Apparently season 2 was never released on DVD separately so I'd have to get Seasons 1+2 internationally for a physical copy but it's on AMC+, iTunes, and other misc streaming sites where you get your shows.
