Anyway, Fenrir is great but too many people are villainizing him just because they were told to by the eddas and then straight up never did any further digging.

He's a deity you can go to who will understand your feelings of betrayal and deep rage and won't shame you for them or tell you to "just think positive and forgive". Who tf wouldn't want that?

Also, they tend to villainize him because he is justifiably angry at being betrayed and having his freedom stolen from him.

And if you're villainizing someone for that...

after thinking too much last night i’ve realized that loki’s punishment was made up of three things:

a wolf, a corpse, and a snake.

maybe i’m making parallels out of nothing, but i’m finding it kind of fucked.

Fenrir Lokidottir concept design.

Yeah, I'm making all three girls in my concept designs. This is my first go at Fenrir's design; it might adjust the concept if I keep working on it. I tried putting as many chains as I could on her design. Had the idea to make Fenrir a white wolf to be different. I tried to make her look rough around the edges and a bit unhinged, to reflect her rough, unpredictable personality. Fenrir is puppy, her personality is rambunctious and misbehaving, but also affectionate. Fenrir's human form is short and cute, in contrast to her huge wolf form.
