there are some background elements and visuals that are relevant to the source material, and the source material will give you context for what to expect from these characters, but ultimately I do think anyone can jump into the series just knowing both women have a complicated relationship with teaching, and certain self-destructive tendencies. and one of the women is working part-time as a maid. even without context, I think it's easy to appreciate the characters and their internal struggles as the artist presents them
since it started as a gag comic the tone stays pretty silly, but as the story develops there are a lot of moody and dramatic moments, it's quite compelling

Ohh you just know his love language would be quality time, mostly because of how busy he is.
He loves how you listen to him talk on and on and you dont even seem bothered by it. You actually listen and he appreciates that more than he could show. Ghosting? non-existent in his vocabulary, and you know that - thats why everytime he would text you randomly with (what some may say) too much emojis and enthusiasm, you would always text back and match his vibe.
He loves how caring and empathetic you are. Satoru looks at you as a role model, something that keeps him hopeful and going. He notices the small things you do for him and others and it always leaves him with the biggest smile and a biiiiiig need to kiss you all over your face. He notices how you put your phone down when talking to someone, he notices how you remember the small "irrelevant" things he himself sometimes forgets he said, and he notices how you always make sure he doesn't feel like he's too much. The Six Eyes really help him out with noticing small details most miss out on.
"Do you know you have exactly 101 freckles?" he would say on a random thursday morning.
"I've always wanted to kiss that little black dot in your left iris but i believe that would be kinda unpleasant for you sweets.."
"You always scratch your ear when you're nervous- just like now! See? it's so cute!"
He thinks you deserve the world but he would never tell you that, he would just stare at you with his freaky blue eyes hoping you will get the message somehow. He is lil bit of a narcissist and you never lie to him about that - and call that man a degrading-kink weirdo, but he finds it extremely hot how you are pretty forward with him about his drawbacks. You also expect him to hit you with some of your cons everytime you do that, but he finds you perfect and absolutely stands by that.

Yeah that boy is a sucker for words of affirmation. He can be clueless but you never judge him for that, you know how confusing feelings can be for that little emo freak so you take it as your duty to reassure him everyday. Oh and how he adores you for that! Everytime he can't sleep he will either text, call, or literally show up to your doorstep to hear your calming voice lull him to sleep. But to your surprise when you ask him what was the first thing that he fell in love with when it comes to you (not that there was anyone else before you lmao), he would answer with your smile.
"Well you know, I've never seen one as sweet and sincere as yours baby. For weeks I couldn't take my mind off your eyes that lit up as you smiled and your cheeks turning a little bit more pink with it."
And what made him love you even more was the grin you had on your face after he said that. Oh he would also adore your hobbies, finding them cute and loving how interesting you are. He would support you to his best abilities trying out new things with you and even showing off to others how talented his girlfriend is. He would make special playlists dedicated to you and learn your favorite songs on guitar just to see your gorgeous pearly whites showing through. He would definitely keep every single gift you give him on display, cherishing it like a noble prize. One day you would give him special hand made guitar pick and he would kiss you silly and/or cry literal tears of happiness till your actually concerned. Yeah Choso is getting a "I crown your smile with my kisses" tattoo.

With how his ass is overworked these days, all Nanami longs for is his warm bed and his loving wife. Not to mention that the smoking hot wife is crazily good at back scratches. Of course he would pay for your nails, always requesting for you to do them long and sharp, and excusing himself with them "looking nicer on you than short ones".
And you know that mf is lying when the moment your hand touches his bare full of pure muscle back, he is a grunting, half-moaning mess.
If someone asked, he would say that he loves your personality, humour (to everyone surprise he actually can be quite hilarious too), and your determination. Privately tho, only you know that the #1 thing he enjoys about being with you is the amount of your physical touch. He would mention you having an "angels touch" and "hands of a goddess" and literally BEG for you to scratch his head, forearms, biceps and back.
You also enjoyed it quite well. Catching your fingers on his blonde strays of hair, gently massaging his scalp till he falls asleep while he suddenly looks so fragile and soft made you adore this side of him, vulnerable and unarmed - him being vocal was a cherry on top. He would always try his best to make it up to you, by buying you flowers or giving you surprisingly good and seemingly professional foot massages.
Kento was so devoted to you.
Everyday at work all he could think about was how confortable he will feel later that night in your embrace, and that was the only thing keeping him from going utterly insane. When thinking of you he thought of tenderness and warmth he couldn't find in himself. You were what home and love meant for him.

For a long moment, he said nothing. You watched as the tension in his shoulders eased slightly, and finally, he spoke. “I’m scared,” he admitted, almost in a whisper. “Scared of… messing things up. Scared of losing the people I care about.”
“You won’t lose me,” you said firmly. “I’ve cared about you for years, Spencer. That’s not going to change because you’re scared.”
His lips pressed into a thin line, and for the first time in days, he looked at you like you were the only person in the room. “I’ve… I’ve been hiding from more than just stress,” he confessed. “I’ve been hiding from you. I didn’t want you to see me… like this. Vulnerable. Afraid. Maybe broken.”
A pang hit your chest. “Spence,” you said softly, reaching across the table to cover his hand with yours. “You don’t have to hide from me. Not ever. I don’t care if you’re scared or broken. I care about you—all of you.”
His eyes glistened, and he finally gave a small, almost shy smile. “You… really mean that?”
“I do,” you said, and when he didn’t respond right away, you leaned closer. “Spencer, I’ve always cared about you. I’ve just… never been able to find the right words.”
He swallowed, taking your hand in both of his. “I think… I think I’ve been waiting for someone to say that. And now that you have… I don’t want to hide anymore.”
You smiled, letting the tension drain from your chest. “Then don’t. Not from me. Not ever.”
For the first time in a long while, the quiet genius sitting before you didn’t seem so unreachable. The weight of unspoken words lifted, replaced by something tentative, fragile, and promising—a connection that had been there all along, waiting for the courage to be acknowledged.
And in that moment, you knew that no matter how many cases came, no matter how much chaos the world threw at the BAU, you and Spencer Reid would face it together, no longer hiding, no longer afraid.
