Hey, all you Les Misérables fictives; yes, you. It’s gonna be okay. We know these next few days are gonna be so hard. But, it’ll be okay. We’ll make it through. And, if you all need something, you can talk to us, okay? You can message us or send us an ask if you want. We’re here for you, and while we may not know exactly what you went through, or remember, or feel, we know what it’s like to go through Barricade Days. It’s gonna be okay. Okay? :)
Sincerely, Two Les Mis Fictives
Autive
A form of fictive that's introjected from an AU of the source rather than the source itself.
[Image ID: A horizontal 9-striped flag. The first line is thin and is a desaturated orange in colour, the second line is thicker and is a mildly saturated light brown in colour followed by a thin white line, a light grey line and the middle line is a slightly darker grey. The bottom half of the flag mirrors the top half but the last two lines are a desaturated blue in colour (the thick line) and light blue. /End ID]

in defence of fictional introjects i think that in the modern age children and teenagers with DID + OSDD are so over exposed to characters as representations of people rather than taking from real people you know. fictional introjects are obviously more popular because when youre an abused kid finding solace in people around you is so hard but much much easier to relate fictional characters who end up being the only positive figures in your life. i think its really coming a place of misunderstanding when people fakeclaim systems with introjects ESPECIALLY if the systems are still teenagers because in this modern age media is just that more relevant than 10-20 years ago now that internet is commonly used and accessed by children.
I never really thought about the whole "canonmates aren't possible with DID/OSDD" but ever since I did it makes sense. But the problem is we have had conversations with friends, them talking about a pseudomemory, and one of our alters actually remembers something similar (not talking about canon events). How is that possible? Are we just making up memories to 'strengthen' a friendship??
hey! i (bunn) have more experience with introjects than faust so im taking this one but faust feel free to step in with your opinion too
i think it could be a couple things
1. memory is weird. its really easy to influence, intentionally or not. as an example i literally cant tell the difference between things that happened to me personally and things that my mom told me happened to her a few times. its even harder with pseudomemories because none of it really happened (though its usually grounded in reality as i’ll touch on later). so it’s reeeeeally easy to hear someone say “i remember this” and that memory genuinely implants itself into your mind. ultimately harmless in my opinion as long as it doesnt cause you stress.
2. pseudomemories are usually (well. pretty much always lol) grounded in some type of trauma or stress you experienced in real life, and it’s not unlikely that you and your friend just experienced very similar things to cause those memories to form. especially if theyre based on what happened in source at all, or could be easily extrapolated from what happened in the source. as an example: i wouldnt find it weird if i were a luca introject and i met an alberto who had the same pseudomemory of us pvp fighting sea monsters or somethin.
it’s most likely some type of combination between these. personally, i wouldn’t worry about it too much! i don’t know you, but i don’t think you’re making up memories to strengthen the friendship. DID brains are just weird! just make sure to be careful not to treat them like they’re the literal person from your source
hope this helped! remember im not a professional and im just a guy

I never use those fictive edit blogs anyway... but on two different blogs I saw my source in the dni/blacklist along with all the “cringe” and “problematic” sources like harry potter and homestuck...
I don’t even know why!!! I haven’t seen all of my source but fuck, I didn’t choose to come from there! It’s not my fault we had a friend that was like “hey this character reminds me of you! watch this!” and then a few episodes later I split. I hate it.
I hate how it makes me feel like I have to avoid these spaces because I’m bad. I’m worried my existence will offend or trigger someone. This is why I’ve never used my name on this blog and only go by an emoji. I don’t want to make my system look bad.
It just sucks seeing all these pages offering support and saying “we luv fictives!!! ur all valid!!!” and then listing me in a special section for shit shows. Alright fuck you too then.

We’ve been wondering if MR is actually an alter or not. We’re not comfortable admitting who that might be yet, but I suspect that they’re an introject of an older movie (well, it’s within the last decade). What are some tell-tale signs that they might be an actual alter? How can you tell?
An Inquiry
I’m wondering if anyone would actually be interested in hearing about the different alters we have that are based on different batman rogues?
