WOW one of the posts you rbed recently has got my thoughts spinning.

Two whumpers that take turns in the roles of tormentor and comforter. One inflicts the pain and punishment, the other comes in afterwards to soothe them, care for them.

Whumpee never knows which whumper will fill which role from day to day

The whumpers make sure that they never follow any identifiable pattern, so Whumpee never knows what's coming next

The whumpers are never in the same room together with Whumpee, but they're always watching, maybe through a one-way glass, maybe through a video feed, so they know exactly what to do and say to set off Whumpee's trauma in the future

Whumpee getting so overwhelmed by the pain during torture that they cry and beg for the other whumper to come rescue them- even knowing that they had hurt them even worse in the past

Sometimes what starts as comfort turns into torment, so even when one of the Whumpers approaches them gently, Whumpee can never truly relax

And then, of course, once they're finally safe, once they're finally with Caretaker again, if *anyone* tries to comfort them, Whumpee can't help but turn into a terrified, trembling wreck, thinking that they're bound to get hurt again

Ohh that's a terrible way for whumpee to never get any rest! I especially like the one where theyre coordinating to set off whumpee's PTSD. Horrible. 👍
