Workout Today.
Nike Training Club: Fighter Fit - 30 minutes
week 5, day 1.
so i haven't exactly eaten that clean today. i had a chocolate chip cookie, and probably too much stuff with fat in it. and not the good kind either. even though i'm still under calories, i need to get on my game, for real.
i did the NTC Fighter Fit. i completed it pretty easily. honestly, though, i think i'm going to do Insanity, P90X or Zumba tomorrow because i'm getting bored of NTC and if i get bored, i don't want to work out, and then i'm going to fall off the wagon, which i do not want to do, and WILL NOT do.
and i really want to go hard this week. like an hour of exercise every day. hold me to that goal please?
so yeah, my goals for this week: 1. at least an hour of exercise every day 2. eat as clean as possible 3. not fall off the wagon!
let's see if i can get this done, people! hopefully you're start of the week is going really great :) much love to all of you!
week 4, day 5.
just finished NTC Fighter Fit. it kicked my butt. seriously, though, my butt was so sore, it was rough to get through the workout, but i did it. i'm getting better at Crazy Ivans and Russian Twists which is so encouraging :) i think tomorrow i'm going to go for an hour of NTC.
i know i said that yesterday, but there have been some.. complications.. with certain areas of my body that make it painful to move. fine, i'll just tell you. my basketball shorts make me chafe, and moving my legs hurts and makes the area worse. i finally got some ointment to make it simmer down, and it's helping a lot. and also, i'm going to get some compression shorts for working out! i'm so psyched. the under armour ones had great reviews, so i'm going with those. hopefully they'll be in by next week because i definitely need to stop working out with these crazy shorts.
oh, and great news! today was the first time like EVER that i put on a white vneck straight out of the dryer without stretching it out :) i'm super excited about that too.
it seems that, though progress is very slow, there is still progress. i can't even believe that Monday will mark a whole month of eating healthy and working out. i really can't believe it.
oh and i decided that i'll weigh myself this Saturday/Sunday, write it down, and then wait 2 weeks before i do it again. i like even numbers. come at me, bro! :P
the moral of this excessive post is this: don't stop! no matter how slowly it seems progress is coming, progress is there, and change is happening and that's what matters.
stay happy, healthy and motivated :) with so much love, aims.
week 4, day 4: part 1.
today i have school from 11 to 4pm, so i finally get to work out at 4. i was just going through some of the Nike Training Club workout sequences, and i chose Fighter Fit in the Get Lean section for today. looking through all of the moves makes me really excited to get started working out, and i might even go through one of the Get Focused parts too, just to get in an hour of working out.
i love that the app allows me to pick my music for everything, and it's amazing how much music drives you forward. i'm excited to work out which is something i never would've said 4 weeks ago.
i think it's an addiction, and i'm glad it's a healthy one.
part 2 of this post will come after the workout. see you guys later!
stay happy, healthy and motivated :) and have a great day!
