I finally just watched this.
Okay, I’m gonna spoil a bit from his video. Whether he’s serious or just being humorous. The idea that Filmento is pissed at these Sonic movies because he’s jealous of the fans getting these. XD I can’t blame him.
But again, Filmento brilliantly explains why film works compared to Uncharted. I am so glad he made this video.
Also...he must REALLY hate that Assassin’s Creed film...can’t blame him. And man...he mentioned Bioshock...I’m rambling on. I’m glad he made this video because I feel like future video game movie adaptations need to take notes from why these films worked. And I will admit this REALLY crazy comparison. When thinking about these two Sonic films. I kind of think it’s like the situation with Aliens and Alien.
That sounds weird, I know. But I meant is many people consider Aliens to be a great sequel and a natural continuation of the first film. While I prefer the first Alien. But I totally get it...that’s how I see it with Sonic. But I prefer Sonic 2. Yet still love that first one.
I still want this dude to make another Bioshock video.
Malignant — How to Write one of the Worst Modern Horror Films | Anatomy ...
If any of y'all struggle with writing, may I kindly suggest that you check out Filmento's YouTube channel? He makes educational videos about movies where he analyses them- why they failed or succeeded, what they did wrong and right, he compares movies and gives tips what changes would've made a movie better.
After watching one of his videos I just came up with a whole plot for a book I've had in mind for a while. It's a fun way to learn.
Here's his channel.
Nice to see at least one of the youtube film guys liked it.
Some interesting points on making the giant monster stories work for more people too.
An interesting watch. I agree with almost everything FILMENTO said in this video. In order for Episode IX to work, the movie should do the following:
Have a time skip. The ending of TLJ set limitations. In order to make the next movie work, the movie should have a time skip. It should start with snappy action scene.
Dehumanize Kylo Ren. Make him evil, scary, unhinged and ruthless by totally embracing his darkness.
Focus on the sequel trio. We started this journey with Finn, Rey and Poe so it only makes sense we end it with them as the focus.
Yesssssssssss.
I’m on Zoom right now. But I’ll watch this later.
Filmento’s three videos on the Monsterverse are like the holy trinity to me.
