Do my favorite ships revolve around Finn? Yes, yes they do.
Do I revolve around Finn? Yes, yes I do.
Finn becoming a Jedi and leading a Stormtrooper Rebellion would’ve saved the Sequel Trilogy. Sometimes a few pictures say it all...
A Finn who was able to resist Stormtrooper programming because he was force-sensitive and went on to become a Jedi himself and force the First Order to crumble from within by encouraging the other Troopers to rebel would have actually made for an original Star Wars plot that wasn't just a rehash of the OT.
If you wanted to mirror anything from the OT, you could subtly find some similarities in Luke's victory in ROTJ. Luke didn't win the battle (Palpatine demolished him) but he won the war (returning his father to the light and having faith in his friends). Finn could do the same by ultimately losing against Kylo, but his essential self-martyrdom inspires a great bulk of the First Order's people (who were all kidnapped as children, the same as Finn) to switch sides and reclaim their old lives.
Luke Skywalker should’ve trained Finn and Rey as the next generation of Jedi.
Lucasfilm May Have Just Confirmed Finn is Force Sensitive...
I also posted this on Twitter but ladies, gentleman or whatever gender you identify as, we may finally have our confirmation finn is force sensitive thanks to these bloody sithtroopers heres why:
so we all know finn started out as a stormtrooper. and theres actually literary proof finn was very skilled one in training and had potential to be one of the best. but what if Snoke got wind of Finns vast skills and realized he was force sensitive?
it sparked a brilliant idea, Snoke decided to to make a group of stormtroopers that were strictly force sensitive led by finn because snoke sensed great power in him...after all he was able to use lukes lightsaber with no training whatsoever the project was however would never come to pass because well finn had too much of the lightside of the force escaped the First Order and was an interagal part of the Force Awakens
kylo must have known about the project and finns force sensitivity because why the fuck would he just randomly fucking stare at him on jakku. despite finn joining the resistance, kylo decied to continue on with the project anyway. if my theory is correct finn will clash with them because kylo said their mission is to kill the "traitor who refused to join them"
in conculsion considering finns clues to him being force sensitive and once being a stormtrooper it is no coincidence these sith troopers are popping and thus may be our confirmation finn is indeed force sensitive. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk -mic drop-
Yesterday I was thinking about how in tros, Finn tries to tell rey something as like, a dying confession. And as the audience, you're left to belive that he wanted to tell rey that he liked her. I remember watching it in theatres and this is what I assumed. Makes sense, right? I mean its implied that hes been crushing on her since tfa. In my opinion I dont really feel like that dynamic was necessary in this movie, but thats not really the point I want to make.
The other thing that he could of wanted to tell her was that hes force sensitive, which ive heard was actually the case. I think that although this doesnt make all that much sense as a dying confession, it's a lot cooler for his character (as opposed to a love confession towards someone who probably doesn't like him back). However, NONE of this was ever addressed or resolved. It was just another one of those "huh... what?" moments that was probably the result of changes being made for god knows what reason.
That being said, if Finn told rey he was force sensitive instead of saying he liked her, I would of been surprised. Pleasantly so, but I was also not expecting it (I'm not a huge star wars fan, I'm pretty casual about it so I never picked up on Finn being force sensitive). SO! Heres the point of this post:
I think a way that would resolve this and satisfy both sides is if Finn was like, "hey rey, I'm ready to talk to you. You know, about what I wanted to say earlier"
Then rey would be like "oh... Finn listen. I know you have feelings for me, but I don't feel the same way. I still love you as a friend"
"Oh, uh... Yeah. Cool. I just wanted to say I was force sensitive."
"!!! OH!! WHY DIDNT YOU SAY SO?? THATS CRAZY!!"
And then it would be all awkward because finns like "yeah! But you know, you not liking me is cool too." :')
everything is proceeding as i have forseen
and ben is gonna be on the ground with them:
Not to continue to be a debbie downer (though that’s my usual gig I guess) but that article seemed to debunk force sensitive Finn for good.
