the recent fire i had with my partner 🔥 we did a little circle dance around it!
i feel like the entire cycle of making a fire is very spiritual, from splitting wood, to stacking the logs into a pyre, then igniting the entire thing and getting it to catch. all of this is concluded by warmth to relax and cook by, a discovery by humans and used by humans everlong now.
Asking all of the gang this, you, too, will not be spared.
What is your favorite practice, devotional act or ritual to do with your deity?
Hm... Those are different things lmao so I'm gonna write it out.
So, my devoutional act(starting with the easiest, yes) is by far poetry(HOW WOULD YOU KNOW, RIGHT? It's not like you're on my devotional poetry blog). Having quite bad aphantasia, writing is just SO beautiful to me, and I love it. I might make more doodle writing like this or PRAYERS(I never intended them to be prayers, but that how people decided to call them so we're rolling with it) like this, this or this. I love to do any devotional acts though, assigning mundane life tasks as a devotional act really keeps me afloat.
For the rituals or practice, the only thing I do, as of rn, is cartomancy/Tarot divinations. Sometimes I feel so connected, I'm just like, beaming with energy. It just makes me so excited. When I tune in with a deity, I just feel the deity so vibrantly it's almost too much to comprehend. Love the feeling.
I have done no rituals tho, so that's something I might start on. Maybe I'll post some upgs, if you guys want them and the deity/spirit won't be against it.
You know what I like about tea? It’s a combination of the four elements.
The tea leaves make up the earth, the foundation, the water that creates the body, the heat and flame that boils the water in order to bring out the properties of the tea leaves, and the delicate, silvery wisps that rise and disappear as we blow on the finished drink to cool it enough to sip.
It’s the perfect blend of the elements, all converging in one place to create a beverage that can be used in so many different ways, whether it’s just to enjoy while doing some paper work or reading a book, using it as an offering to a deity or Mother Earth, or stirring in a spell or enchantment as you add honey or lemon.
And the number of different types and ways you can make tea are nearly limitless! If you’ve got a filter you can use purified rain water or moon water. You can make your won medicinal tea with herbs, or use the flowers you foraged from the great greenwood and vast moor, or harvested from your garden.
It’s truly the witch’s beverage, no matter the path or practice you choose.

Loving the new things I picked up for my altar 🖤😍
@ baby witches
As I’m making a post about fire witches, I’d like to remind my baby witches out there:
You do not have to work directly with fire.
As someone who has fire-related triggers to PTSD, I can reassure you that you can work with the energies of fire without having to deal with fire itself. Fire, along with any other element, has its own correspondences. All that matters is your intent.
So the sun? Fire energy. Chili peppers? Fire energy. Those lil electric candles you can get at the dollar store? Fire energy.
Don’t put yourself at risk for anxiety and any other attack because you think you need to be in the direct presence of actual fire for a ritual.
why wont my landlord let me light candles?
how the fuck are they gonna know that i light candles?
do they have a fucking candle detector?
fuck them, landlords are shit people anyway and i will light as many candles as i please 😠
