Design for flamewar, cold war flamewar, and Fireglide

She's the first decepticon that the autobots encounter on earth. Her faction will be the first thing you'll hear come out of her mouth. She truly believes a bot can never do anything wrong if it's done in the name of the decepticons.

Flamewar is a newer menber of the decepticon's thunder mayhem attack squad, led by the lugnut, around the same age as cliffjumper and bumblebee, flamewar was picked up by lugnut when she spontaneously came to life inside their ship, the Lugnut Supreme, where lugnut would make note to teach a young and impressionable flamewar of the glory of the decepticon cause

After awakening on earth, flamewar becomes a major nuisance to the autobots, somehow constantly evading capture and sabotaging their equipment like a little gremlin. Unbeknownst to them, she's able to be so slippery because Barricade reached out to her to help him switch sides, and she's taking full advantage of the situation

Upgraded with the same tech used to make the stunticons, after Lugnut's uncharacteristic betrayal, flamewar could only stand by his side for a little bit, she repeatedly fails to adapt to the new circumstances holding onto how things used to be, out of no fault of her own, she just wasn't ready, like moving out of your childhood home, and in the end. She runs away

Flamewar wanders the earth as an independent decepticon, melancholic about the loss of her friends, but harboring a deep grudge towards turncoats, trauma is not about the scale of the event, it's about how much it affects you, and to say she's traumatized would be no exaggeration

Her only companion is minicon dinobot called Fireglide, who might just be an isolation induced hallucination, but when he combines with her, she starts giving off ionizing radiation, though that might just be an ability of flamewar's new body itself, locked away by some mental block

A New Canon Bot Has Entered the GOTP AU Chat!

I've decided that the predacon that helped defeat Unicron with Predaking and Darksteel was not Skylynx in this AU, because that name and identity belongs to Predaking's little boy.

Skylynx is one of the youngest predacons in their clan, having emerged from the Well of Allsparks just before the Fall of the False Council. He was immediately taken by Decepticon forces to be trained to be an attack dog of sorts for the False Council, only to be rescued by Autobots and promptly handed off to his mother, Fireglide.

Because of this rescue, Skylynx has a much greater love for the "Good" cybertronians that live in the "Still Dens" (cities, as the Predacons are migratory and move dens periodically) He's not as aggressive as the other predacons in general, and very, very smart. The kind of smart that makes Predaking nervous Shockwave might try to take him in as an apprentice... or to study him. Predaking may respect Shockwave as his "creator," but he's not about to let that one-eyed mad scientist anywhere near his son, as weak and as terrible a hunter as he may be.

Someday, he will grow up and outsize both of his parents, but for now, he is still little, young, and prone to carrying around all sorts of interesting things he finds in crates strapped to his back as "Cargo."

What were Exo-Suit and Fireglide doing at SGIDW?

The former was among the victim parts that Ratchet had that appeared to be his, while the latter did not appear in the comic at all.

The ‘bot you know as “Exo-Suit” was actually the heroic Cityspeaker Roritchi. Long ago, he partnered with the benevolent BlackZarak on their mission to spread the light of civilization across Cybertron, until he met the malevolent Halonix Maximus in a pitched battle. Tragically, Halonix struck BlackZarak down; so distraught was he by the loss of his friend and partner that Roritchi hid himself away in a remote corner of the Static Zone and entered stasis lock. When Goldbug used Starscream’s spark to rouse Metroplex from his long slumber, the same pulse of energy interfaced with Roritchi’s system, who awoke to find a Cybertron ravaged by millennia of civil war. Seeking answers, he staggered to the nearest settlement he could find… only to be felled by a group of retreating Autobots as he approached the gates of Gold City. His parts would ultimately be salvaged by Ratchet, who neither knew nor cared that he’d cut down an ancient historical figure of some renown.

Fireglide stayed by Cannonball’s side during their initial fight against the Decepticons and served as an ad-hoc “mascot” of sorts. Tragically, when the Rising Sea was destroyed, Fireglide went down with the ship.

Meet Fireglide, the mate to Predaking.

Fireglide is not a cloned predacon, but rather the first of a new "run" of Predacons that was born from the Well of Allsparks. She has no allegiance to Shockwave because of this, but is fiercely loyal to her mate and to her fellow predacons.

While Predaking acts the true leader of the colony, Fireglide is his calmer, more patient counterpart. She is maternal in nature, taking care of the younger predacons (her "hatchlings") and making sure nobody is left behind as they traverse their territory in the Shifting Wastes. Make no mistake though, while she is more patient than her mate, cause any harm to her hatchlings and you may not live to regret it.

Whenever a new predacon is born from the Well, it is usually her to go and collect them, and she'll know if one was born and smuggled elsewhere...
