Why are you acting like such a bitch towards the show. Yet show appreciation for it. You’re insulting the cast , characters and art that was put it in knowing that your shit isn’t much better. This is a tumblr blog 😭. You have to go out of your way to find these? Yknow, a blog is more for my open opinions and art. I think about this show quite a bit in private too but when I actually go to write things down it’s usually when I’m most in the mood for it, which happens to be when I’m particularly motivated.

now when did I ever talk about the cast? I talked about Eclipsas voice being perfect, but I’m not sure how that’s an insult? I don’t know any of them as people and I don’t really follow any of them. I’m not sure what you’re talking about here.

now the art, ya I have a bit of a wish about it. I LOVED the s1 animation style, but I understand they changed studios. I have a curiosity about the art direction rather than the art itself. Like you said, I’m NOT a professional in any way. I just like drawing! Like a hobby. I like sharing my hobby.

Now the hating the show while posting fanart for it almost daily… YA CAUGHT ME… I am… A FAN but also a bit of a hater true. I have mixed feelings. It was my favourite show when I was a kid right next to gravity falls. I’d try to catch the new episodes while watching Barbie movies on dvd… good times… it’s a very dear show to me. It inspires me. The music has my heart in a chokehold (I have the s1 ending as my ringtone). The characters are captivating… the designs are mostly right the kind of stuff I like. This show is amazing and the highs are so high they engraved themselves into my brain. But the lows… you can guess by my attitude what I think about those. I’m not a show writer btw, I get upset as a reader and watcher. I was just hoping the professionals could write it so I wouldn’t notice or care enough to let the flaws affect my view of the show as a whole. Alas things happen, that’s how life is.

I like analysing things. I love thinking about character. Character motivations, personalities, narrative roles, stories (I love stories). I love it. This show is amazing in that regard. Each and every character I can think of can be dissected, analysed and explored. The worlds have so much to offer and all the implications the show leaves has so much to speculate on… but I can afford that luxury as an onlooker. A show has a bit of a requirement to stay more focused or at least know what it wants to be. This show started losing itself, enough for younger me to notice. And as you can see, I’m not really smart. It’s not good a significantly dumber and younger version of me just dropped the show because she noticed the flaws.

I care about this show. Not as a parent but as an onlooker. It was like watching someone hold an open event but not organise enough for it to go smoothly. It felt like the hosts of the event were asking the attendees to help move furniture and didn’t think far enough ahead to give a proper speech. And now coming back to it after it’s been over for so long, I remember how fun it was. I remember how much I LOVE it. Sure the furniture is messy and everyone spent too long trying to figure out how to match snacks and drinks and you can see the fallout on the tablecloth. But I loved attending.

I love this show. But I had to watch it figure itself out, make roundabouts, leave threads and come up with things. it’s endearing yes, but I noticed all of it as I was watching. Shows like the owl house aren’t perfect either, but when I was watching I wasn’t thinking about the flaws. I was loving the show and the tidbits that could be flaws only show in retrospect or when I paused to really analyse something. But Star's show isn’t like that, and that makes me sad.

It’s amazing. A plain bad show wouldn’t leave me caring like this. A bad art piece wouldn’t leave me caring like this. It’s beautiful and it’s terrible and it’s so dear to me.

personally i think that you shouldn’t add onto the discourse involving ai and spotting it in fics. it’s not needed and it’s problematic. just block the people and go about your day, if you do something like that— then you’re no better than the people like that account who call out people. ai steals from real writers and although you may have good points, it’s never a guarantee, it’s only adding fuel to the fire. considering you were one of the accounts accused one would assume you’d refrain from something of that nature. just a thought.

First of all, I guess thanks for worrying about me? Though it's really not necessary, I know how to defend myself. Second, I never said I was going to name anyone. I only said I'd point out signs that can help identify AI-generated fanfiction. How is that problematic? Aren't you contradicting yourself? You literally just said AI steals from real people. Isn't that the actual problem? Shouldn't that alone be enough reason to help readers recognize it?

The use of AI is already a problem in the art community, anyone who's actually aware of what's going on knows that. The way you're downplaying it and talking about it like this just makes you look bad, especially since you're trying to defend something you haven't even seen yet.

And lastly, I'm genuinely surprised you're saying I'm involved in all of this when not a single account has mentioned me so far. It makes me think you're either confusing me with someone else or you're just speaking out of ignorance, which, considering everything else you said in your ask, seems like the more likely option lol

I have some notes for you 1 is that you didn’t really explain or give evidence of me being problematic so your hate feels half assed and doesn’t really have the intended “mean” aura to it. Next time I advise you to find proof or at least talk about what I’ve done thats problematic (meaning it’s something that causes issues within the community I’m in).

Second is really put your back into it, use creative words to make your hate feel more certain, a little more academic if you will. That will sure have me worried because if someone who I believe is smart is hating on me I will second guess myself.
