hmm well I'd say I'm fiscally conservative but socially very liberal. the problems are bad but their causes...their causes are very good

My Ideal Man

Non-Negotiables

Catholic (or willing to become one BEFORE we even get engaged)

Conservative (fiscally and socially) 

Wants to live in the country

Is willing and will be able to let me be a stay-at-home homeschooling mother

Wants as many children as the good Lord will give

Isn’t afraid to work hard and get dirty

I also want that he (although these aren’t nearly as important):

Drives (or wants to drive) a Yee Yee truck

Can hold his liquor

Truly enjoys country music

Gets along easily with any and everyone

Prefers baseball over football

Has “longer” hair- ie he doesn't keep it cropped too short on top. Think Chris Evans in the Winter Soldier

And there’s more on the want part that I’m sure I have but since they’re wants and not needs, I don’t really feel like I need to worry too much about listing them, since they are a bit more shallow than the non-negotiables.

Trump vowed to cut the national debt ‘very quickly.’ It just hit a record $22 trillion.

"I don’t know, maybe I could even surprise you."

In 2 years, Trump has increased the nation debt by $2 TRILLION. 

In 2018, America paid $371 Billion just on interest payments  — over $1 Billion per day!

In its fiscal statement, the department noted the total public debt had reached $22.012 trillion, the first time it has surpassed $21 trillion in history. 

On the day Trump took office, it was $19.947 trillion, meaning under his administration, the debt has actually risen $2.065 trillion.

Trump’s continued promises to cut the debt:

June 16, 2015: At his official campaign launch address, Trump said he would “reduce our $18 trillion in debt, because, believe me, we’re in a bubble.”

Dec. 2015: he said he would “freeze the budget,” which has not happened.

Jan. 2016: he told Sean Hannity that he would “balance the budget very quickly … I think over a five-year period. And I don’t know, maybe I could even surprise you.”

March 2016: Trump told The Washington Post that he could get rid of the debt “fairly quickly.” When pressed, he said, “Well, I would say over a period of eight years.”

Aug. 2018:  “Trump makes bizarre claim that tariffs will help pay down the massive U.S. debt”

Trump made 663 promises before taking office

Trump has visited golf clubs 149 times as president so far, at a cost of about $79,000,000 to US taxpayers. Fiscal conservatism, if it was ever anything more than hollow words, no longer is.

That’s strange. Since Republicans gutted Food Stamps in both the House & Senate Farm Bills.

On June 19, the GOP proposed a plan to “balance” the country’s budget over nine years that would eviscerate Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid in order to pay for the more than $1 trillion Republican tax cut that most analysts say will benefit the wealthiest Americans.

Then, two days later, the House voted 213-211 to pass a sweeping farm bill that, if enacted, would institute huge changes to the nation’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) ― America’s primary food program that is more commonly referred to as food stamps.

The Senate has its own farm bill, approved on June 28, that is much more bipartisan in agreement and that doesn’t include those aforementioned significant changes to SNAP.

But to pass a version at some point this year, the two chambers are going to have to find some common ground amid an election season that sees all 435 members of the House and one-third of Senators up for re-election.

Food is a basic necessity. Farmers and Republicans, are you still OK with the ‘aid’ (handouts) knowing that:
