So, there's a scam doing the rounds

I just got contacted by a user (not someone I follow, but we're in the same fandom circles) claiming to have "accidentally" reported my account, being all remorseful and offering to help rectify things.

It's a big fat scam, and you can read more about it HERE.

The tl;dr version is, that they try getting you to contact someone pretending to be from tumblr's support team through either Discord or via a phone call. This isn't how anything works.

I'm pretty sure the user who has contacted me is in fact a scammer, who is using an account that they've taken over as a part of the scam. That's why I'm not naming any names here.

Cold weather driving trick:

{you probably already know but i recently learned and tested this and it's legit}

If your car is fuel-injected the engine won't warm until you're moving

So starting it ahead of time & letting it run won't give you heat out of the vents (or do much else of use ?)

HOWEVER, the battery will instantly warm your car's interior if it is heated up

To heat up your battery, flash your brights on and off about 10 times - instant heat

To avoid battery drain, i now start my car first, then flash the brights and... instant heat. 🖤

i feel like fiyero doesn't really think much about marriage like other young people might because he has a lot going on and when he's at shiz, he just wants to meet people and just date someone. whether that's dating around or even sleeping around, he doesn't want to limit himself to someone that he may one day marry. even if he does want to be with someone that he can connect with on a deeper basis, marriage isn't important to him. he's still trying to figure things out and when things start going downhill at the school, it's even more reason to think about something other than who he may one day call his partner.

DIY REPAIR YOUR SHOE SOLE: 1) apply super glue to the break/hole/crack; 2) wait a few seconds and sprinkle the sodium bicarbonate on top, spreading it with your finger/cotton swab/brush (don't worry, it will not stick); 3) Repeat step 1 and 2; 4) IT'S DONE! If you want, repeat a few more times to reinforce. It is possible to replace sodium bicarbonate with graphite powder, the result will be the same.
