keeping spring in the jars
first flowers of the spring season. snow drops and crocuses
pressing them, crocuses are my favorite to press
I have done a simple jar spell every day this week with a base of dried flower petals. I hang and dry flowers that have been gifted to me by my love or lovingly gathered by my children, then gather the petals into tiny spell jars that sit in wait under my incense burner.
This week I have used pink Himalayan salt for grounding, as I am trying to cultivate an atmosphere of love and healing and gentle acceptance in our home and in my heart. I have been having a difficult time with the self-admonishing voices in my foresty brain, so I have added spices for love, protection and healing, like ginger, nutmeg and basil.
I can feel the blanket of warmth weaving itself over our home and I am beginning to feel so safe.
So much spell work has been exhausting, though, and I'm having to take more time to recharge, especially as the week wears on.

Luck and Fortune Jar ✨
Trying my hand at jar magic today!!! I just received some flowers from graduation and though why not make things witchy. Today’s main ingredients are peony flowers. Their petals are said to promote good luck, good fortune, prosperity, and business success. I used the petals, pollen, and leafs in this spell.
Ingredients:
✨: Glass jar with cork (or any container you desire)
✨: Peony petals, leafs, and pollen
✨: Gold beads, confetti, or anything really (optional)
✨: Paper and string for Sigil
✨: Sparker/Flint & Steel/ or a flame (CAREFUL WITH FIRE GUYS)
I bought my jars at the dollerama and they were super cheap (I have another 2 for other spells). I always loved jars like these with corks but if you prefer to use another container go for it.
I used a “puddle” of pollen that had gathered on the peony petals. I shifted it into the jar. I also pulled a few petals and leaves from the flowers and put them in the jar.
Adding a few little gold tokens. These are not nessecary but I used them as a representation of good fortune. (Also I’m crazy for shiny stuff and aesthetics)!!!.
Finally I added a sigil for beauty, good luck and fortune. I use this one mainly for beauty but I thought this is the best sigil for me to use. You can create or use other sigils if you want!! After tying the sigil into a scroll, I capped the jar and used a little bit of clear nail polish to hold it down.
Using my flint & steel, I created a few sparks to cleanse the jar. The sparks did catch a few pollen specks outside the jar and made little smoke circles which was very surprising.
I truly hope you enjoyed another spider witch spell, I hope to create more in the future!!! Thanks so much for reading and if I did anything wrong, add on or sent me a message!!! See you next time ✨✨✨

Me and my mom collected eight flowers to but under our pillows. Because if you but eight (or some places seven or nine) flowers under your pillow in midsummer(juhannus) night, you conna see dream with our future spouse in it.
a spell to invoke self-growth
ingredients:
any floral perfume, lotion, or balm
a vanilla candle (preferably white)
a cinnamon candle (preferably red)
water of your choice in your most beautiful glass
determination and belief
❀✿❁ this is best done right after a shower or bath, so that you are freshly cleansed and ready to begin again! ❁✿❀
technique:
spritz or drag along your floral component across a small portion of your white candle, and while doing so imagine forgiveness and sweetness. imagine something within you waking up and planting the bud to your ideal self. light your candle while singing a song that makes you happy.
do the same to your red candle, but this time imagine strength and resilience; after all, a rose is beautiful but it does not let those who it does not wish touch her without consequences.
douse yourself with your floral component and allow yourself to simply be in its presence. imagine swell intentions permeating into your skin ( like you’re marinating )
do this until you finish your song and meditate on the bud inside of you. slowly drink your glass of water and imagine this coursing through your body and watering this bud.
do your regular spell ending rituals
everytime you do an act of kindness or become one step closer to becoming your ideal self, imagine this bud growing inside of you (and don’t forget to stay hyrdrated! i personally use that as a way to remind myself.)
I hope you all like this!
