found a temporary solution to the character floating away. but going up or down still leads to it floating to the top or bottom of the screen.

I made a game!!!!

me and a friend made a game! It’s called Pip’s Maze/Pip’s Adventure! It’s our first game! It is on flowlab!

hey guys.

um. just in case anyone is interested. i made a video game.

it’s not super big but yk. it’s still a game.

don’t worry about screwing up the game if it takes you to the “edit” screen. you can move stuff around and play it like that for a round, but once it reloads it goes back to how i set it. it doesn’t change because you don’t have access to my account. if it takes you to the “edit” screen just hit the “play” button down at the bottom of the screen. 

the game works MUCH better if you can play on a chromebook, laptop, etc. but it will still work on mobile as i do have arrows for screen use as well. they just run nowhere near as smooth. 

but anyways here. it’s cheesy but idk. i think it turned out okay.

I was today years old when I leaned that if you place multiple blocks in the same spot in Flowlab, It’ll only render the first one that was put in that spot during gameplay

I was so frustrated by the blocks in my level seemingly resetting out of nowhere that I straight up said and I quote, “WHAT IS THIS?! GOLDEN EXPERIENCE REQUIEM OR SOMETHING?! AM I HAVING AN ANYEURISM?!” I’m still super embarrassed about the fact that it took me so long to figure out I messed up and not the program 😅 but to quote one of my friends in the programming class “programming is just banging your head against the wall until you solve a problem you didn’t know you had”
