I would be lying if I didn’t think about scrapping the shrimp plans and putting a pea puffer in here. But how should I scape it!!? I'm thinking just spiderwood and moss.

Val knows he’s beautiful. Its hard to see, but this piece of driftwood is shaped like a heart!! I love the tannins this driftwood is giving off! When the sun hits the tank, it’s so pretty! Hopefully I will be able to get more plants soon for this tank!

So I saw some aquaponics tank discussion a while ago, and i was watching an aquarium coop video earlier and i saw this tank in the background!! So i gave it a quick google~ At first glance its really similar the fluval chi. Sushi! He came with a 5 gallon I acquired! Along with some neocaridina, ramshorns, a nerite, and a pleco who is being exiled to the lfs asap

Are you unable to replace the filter pad? I thiiiiink it's still sold at least online?

It is, but it’s practically disposable with how shoddy it is. It’s not that great at holding BB and the GPH is super low. I wonder if I could overclock the motor?? but that may make it just burn out.
