-I think Notchroot having this possibly unusual angle because its not ruled by bugs like Pharloom or Hallownest but by rootkin is extremely tantalizing, and Flynt being a kind of window for the reader into some of that, on top of exploring some fun Bug Thoughts on Bug Culture is exciting as hell and I hope we get a chance to see that, considering our party of characters and my own fascinations. Plus we haven't even gotten to consider how the bees fit into this too!!

Since, this post has been getting lots of love, I thought y'all would also enjoy my face design for the big man, Captain Flynt himself.

I figured he has lots of burns from pushing the limits of his fireproof capability, and a big ol' smile to show off his sharpened chompers. It's a miracle only part of his hair is singed off; you're just gettin' his "good side."
