duri was excited to hear that he had been chosen for ‘cabi song’, as well as being one of the main vocalists for the track. it seemed to be a different concept from stuff that he had done in and outside of knight, as well as much different than what he had done in the previous colla3orate project as well. he thought it was rather interesting, as well, to portray a lifeguard, based off the concept that they were given in the very first meeting earlier that month. not to mention, since the first meeting, duri had been thinking about the stage that he would be doing for the concert once everything was said and done. but, thus, it was more so go time, and this time, they’d be recording the song, but, of course, they’d be meeting before hand for some extra recording.
duri had arrived to gold star’s building, probably a bit early. but, he was always the early bird that catches the worm. but, the worm in this case, was just to wait around for others. but, at least he got to kill time by being mic’d up for the time being. he was in a bit of a comfortable outfit, an oversized sweater (if anything could even look oversized on him), jeans, and sneakers for the song recording. it was a usual style that he would tend to show up in. he made his way to the meeting spot, before waiting for another soul to appear. after a while, he looks, a smile upon his face as he starts waving. “minah!” he greets excitingly. “are you excited to record today?”
Note: This month, idols in all six songs will be either preparing for their song’s release or promoting their song. All idols will also be participating in recording a special physical-only bonus track.
Those involved in this month’s schedule may earn up to 5 points total for writing, by the end of June 15 KST (for each song schedule they are a part of):
A solo para of 400+ words based on their May schedule for the COLLA3ORATE project this month (3 points).
A thread of six posts (three per participant, including the starter) based on their May schedule for the COLLA3ORATE project this month (2 points).
These do not count toward monthly limits or toward normal schedule points.
LOVE & LIVE:
For the beginning of the month, the members of the song (@fmdyoohyeon, @fmdhaseo, @fmdsiyeon, @fmdxsuwei) will continue to have sparse rehearsals together up until the release of their song on May 11.
On May 12, the members will attend The Show for their first special promotional stage. The four members will all go to the salon together early in the day before arriving at the SBS studio. They will be granted a waiting room of their own up until they pre-record their stage a few hours before broadcast time. They will not stay around for the live broadcast of the show (unless they have other schedule reasons to do so).
The members will repeat this schedule for all music shows on the 13-18 as well.
During their promotions, each idol will also be guided to take a number of selfies that will be chosen from by staff as photo cards for the physical mini-album for the COLLA3ORATE project.
During their promotion period, the four idols will be informed that they have one more song to record — a special bonus track that will only be available on the physical version of the mini-album all of the singles will be released on. All that is required of them is to record their assigned parts, as there will be no promotions or other activities for these “secret” b-side tracks. The idols will be given the demo beforehand and will be scheduled to record one day out of May 20, May 25, or May 31 depending on schedules (the day is up to the mun as long as the muse is in Seoul on the chosen date!). Line distribution for this track can be found here.
End note: This month, no part of their schedule (other than music show stage filming) will have cameras present.
GO:
For the beginning of the month, the members of the song (@fmdyuanjun, @fmdjaeyeol, @fmddaisuke, @dawonfmd, @fmdxiwon) will continue to have sparse rehearsals together up until the release of their song on May 20.
On May 13, all idols performing in the song will fly out very early morning KST to California to shoot the music video for “Go” in Los Angeles. Members are encouraged to sleep on the plane ride, as they will begin shooting as soon as they arrive. The music video shoot will be a two day shoot over May 13 and May 14, before the members fly out back to South Korea late May 14/early May 15 for a late May 15 arrival in Seoul.
On May 21, the members will attend MCountdown for their first special promotional stage. The members will all go to the salon together early in the day before arriving at the Mnet/CJ E&M studio. They will be granted a waiting room of their own up until they pre-record their stage a few hours before broadcast time. They will not stay around for the live broadcast of the show (unless they have other schedule reasons to do so).
The members will repeat this schedule for all music shows on the 21-27 as well. During their promotions, each idol will also be guided to take a number of selfies that will be chosen from by staff as photo cards for the physical mini-album for the COLLA3ORATE project.
The week before their promotion period, the seven idols will be informed that they have one more song to record — a special bonus track that will only be available on the physical version of the mini-album all of the singles will be released on. End note: This month, behind the scenes content at the music video shoots will be filmed for an M/V filming video. No other part of their schedule (other than music show stage filming) will have cameras present.
DRIP:
On May 3, all idols (@fmdhyejun, @fmdchaesoo, @fmdjynx, @fmdxlux, @fmdxyoungjoo) chosen will be scheduled to be picked up in a Dimensions Entertainment van from their dorm or private residence to be driven to the Dimensions Entertainment building. Once there, they will begin to learn the choreography for the song they recorded last month. They will learn from one of Dimensions Entertainment’s dance instructors and one of the choreographers (@fmdjoohwan) will be present for roughly a half an hour to give pointers on the parts of the dance they helped with. The five idols will meet a few times throughout the month to practice together under the same circumstances of being chauffeured to the Dimensions Entertainment building together, but are expected to also practice on their personal time.
On the same day, they will be introduced to a woman named Jo Jiwon who will serve as their project group manager for this month and the next as they approach promotions. She will be with them for all schedules from this point onward unless specified otherwise.
On May 16, the project group members will be escorted to a shop in Gangnam where they will undergo fittings for the outfits they will wear in the music video and during stage performances of the song.
On May 21, the members will arrive at an indoor set to film the music video for the song.
Before they attend fittings mid-month, the idols will be informed that they have one more song to record — a special bonus track that will only be available on the physical version of the mini-album all of the singles will be released on. All that is required of them is to record their assigned parts, as there will be no promotions or other activities for these “secret” b-side tracks. QUIT PLAYING:
On May 1 all idols (@fmdsamsoo, @fmdtaeyong, @fmdhoon, @fmdhyunsoo, @fmdsan, @fmdjoosung) chosen will be scheduled to be picked up in a Dimensions Entertainment van from their dorm or private residence to be driven to the Dimensions Entertainment building. Once there, they will begin to learn the full original choreography for the song they recorded last month. They will learn from one of Dimensions Entertainment’s dance instructors. They will meet a few times throughout the month to practice together under the same circumstances of being chauffeured to the Dimensions Entertainment building together, but are expected to also practice on their personal time. The female backup dancers will be integrated in a later practice session in the month.
On the same day, they will be introduced to a man named Park Kyuwon who will serve as their project group manager for this month and the next as they approach promotions. He will be with them for all schedules from this point onward unless specified otherwise.
On May 20, the project group members will be escorted to a shop in Gangnam where they will undergo fittings for the outfits they will wear in the music video and during stage performances of the song.
Mid-month, the idols will be contacted either by phone or email by management to be informed that they have one more song to record — a special bonus track that will only be available on the physical version of the mini-album all of the singles will be released on. All that is required of them is to record their assigned parts, as there will be no promotions or other activities for these “secret” b-side tracks. OH! MY MISTAKE:
All idols (@fmdsophie, @fmdsooah, @eunahfmd, @fmdyujin, @fmdyena) chosen for this song will have been informed and sent the full demo of the song on March 15.
On May 10, they will arrive separately at the Gold Star Media building to record the track. As the song will be released with Gold Star Media’s resources, most of the preparations for the song will occur at the building. This is their first time working together and the recording session will be filmed, so before they go into the studio, they will get some time to get introduced to each other. Following this short time to mingle, they will be introduced to one of the lyricists, composers, and producers of the song (@fmdjoosung) who will take some time to explain the overall concept of the song. He will then be joined by another producer and a recording engineer to help guide the recording process. The members will then go into the recording booth in the following order: main or lead vocal (chaewon), vocal (naeun), vocal (chaekyung), vocal (jinsol), vocal (rachel), and rapper (yena). All vocalists will record all vocal parts, but the producers present will focus in on parts for each idol that they determine matches their voice well to record more takes of (these parts will reflect the line distribution). The project group members will be treated to dinner by a manager all together following the wrap on recording.
On May 25, the idols will once again return to the Gold Star Media building for a concept meeting. During the concept meeting, they will be given an overview for the anticipated wardrobe and the MV storyboard in addition to more details on the overall concept of the release.
Mid-month, the idols will be informed that they have one more song to record — a special bonus track that will only be available on the physical version of the mini-album all of the singles will be released on. Lines were divided as equally as possible while still maintaining a realistic flow within song sections.
a chance for her to teach other people. it wasn’t the same as when she was pulled in to ‘bully’ a few trainee’s. ( really just watching them perform and giving some feedback, but they always looked scared. ) even then, she didn’t really teach them. but now? she’d gave chance to help perfect the choreography she helped work on.
it was still a little bit of a shock that she had been given a chance to work on this. even more so that they gave her the okay. when she arrived to practice, it seemed like the crew was already there and she smiled a little when she realized who was in the so-so group. :”duri!” he was one of the first people she greeted and she had a smile on her face as she did so. “are you ready to work with me? i can be a bit tough.” when it came to this, she was beyond serious.
being sat next to hyunsoo certainly wasn’t an unwelcome experience for sung. what with the whole dating-a-member-of-his-group thing, sung was excited for the opportunity to become closer. frankly, it still felt like a dream to be in a group with all of these idols he admired-- even the ones he’d already have considered a friend.
but, in the moment, the most important person in the room, was the man right next to him. a new friend, a new chance. “what do you think the concept will be like?” without thinking, sung shoved a couple slices of meat into his mouth, but took the over-exaggerated time to swallow before speaking again. “like, we’re meant to be sexy, right?” that was what the producers had told him to exude, anyway. he couldn’t be sure what the others had gone through. “but, i like thinking of what kind of choreography we could get. or styling.” something better than a shirt and pants, if he was lucky.

Daisuke wasn’t sure where along the line in the past year and a half that people suddenly became interested in him, but it wasn’t something he had been expecting. He had gone from being one of the members of CHARM who just participated in group schedules and comebacks, to being one of the members of CHARM who had the busiest schedule. He wasn’t sure if he hated or loved it just yet. He enjoyed performing and singing, of course, but he wasn’t sure if he liked the attention that came with the extra work. At least with the collaborate thing, he would be sharing the spotlight with a few other idols, so it’d be like being in a group again instead of solo activities. He had finished recording his parts for the song, and was watching the other guys do theirs. He looked over to where Xiwon was seated, hesitating for a moment, before he approached him and sat down next to him. He held out the bag of snacks he had been munching on ever since he finished recording, silently offering some to the older male.
“we meet again.” jiyoo chuckled, although taeyong was a friend she saw often enough. still, it was a pleasent shock learning that he would be apart base collab. as a producer no less. “but i guess i shouldn’t be shocked, making music in your thing.” she was never into it much, not nearly as much as taeyong. “here, i got us some snacks.” they were given a small break and jynx decided to take that time and chat with her friend. ( it also helped that she already recorded her lines, she didn’t have much to do but relax now. )
jiyoo grabbed what she wanted out of the bag and then handed it over to taeyong. “so give it to me straight doc.” she took in a deep breath. “how did i sound for this concept that’s so far away from aria.” it would be like a total 180 when it was released. i’m so sick didn’t even stand up to this. “but it was fun.”

At the beginning of March, idols under all three companies are informed about the beginning of a special project: the COLLA3ORATE Project. The public is informed through press releases a few days later. This project is an opportunity for idols under all three labels to come together in very short-term project groups outside of their traditional setting to promote a new single as a group for one week, with two songs being released each month from May to July. All singles will have a different concept to show the diverse charms of the companies and at the conclusion of the project, a mini-album will be released featuring all six singles.
IN ‘VERSE INFO
In the first week of March, idols who have either expressed interest in the opportunity to their managers or have been specifically picked by management for consideration will be sent short clips of demos of the songs. Idols will be able to express their preferred song(s) to their managers but final decisions will be made by the department of artist and repertoire management responsible for arranging the project groups and their choices may not ultimately align with the idols’ preferences.
Shortly following, the group lineups will be confirmed with the chosen idols and as they near work for the project, they will be sent full-length demos of the song they will be recording and will also be made aware of the other idols they will be working with.
Further schedules for recording, practicing, and preparing the song will come at a later date once the groups are organized!
OUT OF ‘VERSE INFO
Note that these are not sub-units and the songs will not be considered to get major promotion. Promotions are mainly to show off the song and promote the project itself, but those involved will be expected to put a similar effort into preparations as they would for a regular comeback.
In-character, it’s an opportunity for the three companies to profit off of combinations they couldn’t have otherwise and to continue to enforce their oligarchy over the industry. Out-of-character, it’s a chance to have your muse promote with and interact in a professional performance setting with a number of muses your muse wouldn’t usually get to!
All singles will be promoted by the project group under the name of COLLA3ORATE for a week on music shows. For this special project, the promotion period is allowed to overlap with other promotions by the same muse as muses will only be bound to music shows to promote the song, which they will already be attending if they are promoting for something else as well. Though all songs will be officially credited under the name COLLA3ORATE, performers will be individually credited on most platforms as well, so performance involvement will be added to your muse’s Exclusive blog career page.
If you’re interested in having your muse participate in this opportunity, a form will be opened up at 12PM (noon) EDT on March 8 to submit your muse for the project. For the initial submissions, muns may only be confirmed for one muse as a performer in one of the songs. After first round submissions are made and confirmed, a date will be announced where muns can submit for second and possibly third muses.
All songs will have a preparation period of two months in addition to the month of release. For instance, the May releases will be worked on in March, April, and the beginning of May. During this preparation time, mini schedules will be posted for the idols collaborating on the specific song that the involved idols can earn points for writing about. Select days of the preparation process will be filmed to be uploaded on base Online, but most of the preparation will be off-camera.
Charting will mirror the real life singles.
Any further questions should be directed to the main’s ask box!
GUIDELINES
POSITIONS:
Each song must include an idol from at least two of the three companies and no more than two members of the same group can be on the same song. It will be designated on the song page if a song is no longer open to idols from a specific company or group.
CREATIVE CLAIMS:
For this opportunity, partial credits should be assumed to be approximately 50% credit or less in their respective area.
Creative claims are available on songs for the project, both musical claims and choreography claims, but a muse may only have musical claims (any combination of lyrics/composition/production) or a choreography claim. A muse cannot have both.
Only one muse per mun can claim creative credits on any song for this round. A muse cannot have creative claims on the song they are performing in and only one muse by the same mun may be involved in the same song in any way (performer, musical claims, or choreography claim).
All songs are open to musical credits for only one muse total and choreography credits for only one muse total (e.g. if a muse claims partial lyrics credit on a song, no one else can claim partial lyrics credit and partial composition and partial production are closed off as well, but choreography will still be available).
In order to claim a creative credit, the muse must already have a creative credit points claim in the same area(s) on an already released points claimed song.
Creative claims must be made with points, meaning you must have the appropriate number of points available at the time of claiming. Writing verification is not an option for this project.
Creative claims will be considered to be separate from position claims, meaning that when the forms open for the first time, you may submit both a creative claims form and a position form for either the same muse or two different muses if you would like to.
For idols claiming any musical creative credits (lyrics, composition, or production), the songs would have been submitted to their respective company by the end of 2019 at latest. Regardless of initial intent for the song, as the idol songwriters/producers do not have control over what is ultimately done with the song, they would be notified of the song they worked on being used for the project a few days before songs are officially assigned.
For idols claiming choreography credits, they would be given the song a few days earlier than everyone else and would have from March 1 to March 9 to create and submit their choreography draft.
