This is a ‘red’, a two handed weapon for Dagorhir or foam weapon fighting. It comes up to just under my collar bone, which sounds impressive until you hear that I am 5'1 and a quarter.

Master Sword. Alternate rust version. All in foam with wood core.

I looked at the game art for the Breath of the Wild rusted version and it’s beat all to hell. Missing huge chunks out of the side and just looks like a mess. As artistic as it is I don’t want to do that to a prop.

So, I got a little loose and sloppy when detailing the blade of this foam piece. This means it’s rough in places, pitted, and generally unrefined.

Truth be told, I’m still new to foam and learned from a lot of mistakes.

But let’s ignore that and imagine that this was all intentional!
