Super Mario Fantasy RPG princesses - Knight Peach by Diego Fonteriz

So this comes from a set of Mario ladies AU fanart... and Peach is the only one not sporting a huge cleavage and random bare skin. “Warrior Daisy” got straight-up boobplate 🙃 

I do adore this version of Peach, though. She deserves a break from being a damsel in distress sometime. This quietly confident expression is beautiful.  The plate armor is very nice, with lovely Mushroom Kingdom detailing. And includes what seems like gambeson padding, too! The wedge heels are kinda weird, cause while relatively comfortable, they’re there just for the aesthetics. Could have been modest rider heels, more practical for stirrups. But at least they’re not half an inch thick and five inches long, like most of what we see on BABD.

We actually featured a cool lady knight by this artist before. Clearly he’s capable of drawing  functional armor on ladies  when he wants to >.>

So I know I covered theft of official Sailor Moon art, but this requires a revisit.

For the most part, nothing was traced off of FonteArt, but one of her designs was absolutely stolen (sort of like what happened with NoFlutter’s warrior designs).  It started with this, which was created and posted back in 2016:

Per the artist’s comments, this was originally a cosplay design that this person came up with.   This is their original idea, their original creation.  There’s a lot of specific design elements here:

- Colored collar with ribbon and brooch

- Shoulderpads with the crescent moon on it

- Corset-styled breastplates with downwards and upwards-facing crescent moons

- Colored forearm bands

- Colored leggings 

- Armored boots with downward-facing crescent moons

You’re probably wondering where I’m going with this…  Welp.  Those poses looked suspiciously like Sailor Moon Crystal official art.  And I was right.

They’re traced from Sailor Moon Crystal Concept Sheets.

Warrior Serenity is traced from Sailor Moon’s sheet (see pose circled below).

Warrior Aphrodite is traced from Sailor Venus’s sheet (see pose circled below).

Warrior Cyclone is traced from Sailor Neptune’s sheet (see pose circled below).

Warrior Hurricane is traced from Sailor Uranus’s sheet (see pose circled below).

The unnamed blue-haired warrior is traced from Sailor Mercury’s sheet (see circled pose).

Warrior Arianna is traced from Sailor Mars’s sheet (see pose circled below).

Warrior Zeidae is traced from Sailor Jupiter’s sheet (see pose circled below).

Warrior Time is traced from Sailor Pluto’s sheet (see pose circled below).

Warrior Chibi Serenity is traced from Sailor Chibi Moon’s sheet (see pose circled below).

Last but not least, Warrior Death is traced from Sailor Saturn’s sheet (see pose circled below).

Just so you know, no credits or references to FonteArt’s design, despite the heavy, HEAVY references, are listed on any of these deviations.  It’s not even coincidental.  Not to mention straight up tracing off of official character design sheets.
