Hero, Villain’s lover, is being mind-controlled by Supervillain continuation
Villain knew not to fight Hero. For one thing, they wouldn’t be able to feel their struggles and they didn’t want to hurt them, and second of all, they didn’t want to risk Supervillain hurting them. They knew what this was about, but they weren’t ready to admit it to Supervillain’s face.
All they could do was let Villain guide them out of the streets, endure the humiliation of Hero tying them up with Supervillain mocking them, being gagged and with great reluctance, blindfolded. As soon as the strip of material touched their face, they struggled to hold back their panic, to hide their fear. They hoped Supervillain wasn’t watching them, didn’t see the way they had to curl up and hide their shaking hands.
They wondered if Hero was watching them. They wondered if they knew what they were doing. If they were conscious in their own mind or had no idea what was happening. For Hero’s sake, they hoped it was the latter.
They travelled in silence, struggling not to start retching on the gag in their mouth, trying their hardest to ignore how damp it was getting, how dry their throat was getting. Villain had a feeling worse awaited them.
Hero chained them to a wall with their hands high above their head, painfully far up. They could barely balance on the balls of their feet. It hurt, and they were all too well aware of how exposed their body. They didn’t take the blindfold off, but the gag was removed at least. Villain had to clench their fists to hide their shakes.
But they weren’t prepared. They yelped when someone touched their exposed sides.
“Nervous, are we? Good. I hope you’re terrified. [Hero] tells me you’re afraid of blindfolds, being unable to see.”
Villain had to bite their lip to keep quiet when their shirt was ripped open, cut off in chunks. They didn’t know who was doing it.
Then it started without another word. Villain hadn’t expected it, an agonising punch to their torso, and they were sure they felt a knuckle duster amongst the blow. Another strike came, then another, and Villain could only stand and take it. They felt the bruises forming, they were sure a rib snapped when they heard a crack, they could barely breathe, and the random strikes to their face were agonising, dizzying. Villain vomited, and they grew more vocal. Their fear bult up with every blow, from hisses to whimpers to yells, screaming, and begging. Begging for them to stop in between short gasps for air. The blindfold was only making things worse.
Villain had almost, almost gotten used to the pain of being punched when things were changed up. They felt something sharp and intense, they weren’t able to figure out if it was a knife or a whip for quite some time. Everything hurt so much it all just blended into one, that was until they felt something different, a deeper kind of pain, a stab wound.
They cried out, begging once again for mercy as they lost the strength in their legs.
“[H.Hero]... If you’re there… please… help me.”
They heard a hmph noise, a snort of amusement. Probably Supervillain taking in the sight of them weak and desperate.
The blindfold was finally ripped away, by Hero of all people. Villain couldn’t believe it when they made out the tears in their eyes with their swimming vision.
Hero had done this, seen it all. They’d been trapped in their own body and caused these wounds.
“It’s okay,” Villain wheezed. “It’s… okay.”
Their head fell limp, but of course, Supervillain wasn’t done.
“You know why you’re here, don’t you?”
“Yes,” Villain slurred. They were losing blood, lots of it. Their head hurt so much, every pulse felt like a stab to the brain, breathing was agony, as if their torso was made of stone, and every time they breathed in it cracked and crumbled.
Supervillain whistled, and one of their men brought in a red hot iron. Oh god, not that too.
“Put their blindfold back,” Supervillain ordered.
Hero did so, but Villain saw a flicker of emotion on their face, they were straining, fighting so hard. For all their face looked mostly calm, tears streamed down their face. They could see it, see them. They knew what they were doing and deep down they were fighting it with everything they had. Villain didn’t have the strength to speak, to encourage them. Darkness was seeping over their vision.
The cloth went back on, and Villain was left in suspense, not knowing when the heat would touch them, burn them, brand them. Where would it go? They couldn’t stop it wherever Supervillain decided to have Hero inflict more pain.
Villain wasn’t able to brace for it. They knew it was coming, but the pain was unreal. They screamed, writhing in their chains, throwing their head back. They could smell burnt skin, their skin.
Only amongst their screams, they heard someone else. Hero. There was a clang of metal as the iron was taken away from them.
Villain felt their eyes slipping closed, and they didn’t know if Hero had broken free, if they’d been hurt, they had no idea.
“[Hero]...” they murmured before they blacked out.
