Wow, Kassi just taught me that the human race has been brainwashed for literally almost 3 million years! I didn’t even know we had corporations back then, oh my god!
Egg update i had eggs at brunch and my brother insisted on watching me like i was the fucking Superbowl and he texted a play by play to his girlfriend the whole time.
Watching your big brother eat eggs for the first time in thirteen years is apparently Very Exciting XD
Survey
Hi all, I’ve been thinking about the topic of former vegans and would like to put out an honest post asking any former vegans (i.e. those who believed in animal rights) why they stopped being vegan.
I won’t reply to any replies personally, and I urge my followers to not reply either. This is meant to be a survey, not a debate. This post will just be used to attain a greater understanding of the reasons behind people giving up on veganism. So, if you are a former vegan, please reply to or reblog this post with as much detail as you are willing to give on why you stopped believing in veganism.
I would love it if a few people could just reblog this to give it some extra views and be exposed to a wider audience if possible too, please.Thank you and I hope this works!
EDIT: You can also message me privately if you want!

★ Vitamin B12 1. The main finding of this review is that vegetarians develop B12 depletion or deficiency regardless of demographic characteristics, place of residency, age, or type of vegetarian diet. Vegetarians should thus take preventive measures to ensure adequate intake of this vitamin, including regular consumption of supplements containing B12. 2. Vegans have lower vitamin B12 concentrations, but higher folate concentrations, than vegetarians and omnivores. Half of the vegans were categorized as vitamin B12 deficient and would be expected to have a higher risk of developing clinical symptoms related to vitamin B12 deficiency. 3. Vegans are at a higher risk of vitamin B12 deficiency than some vegetarians. (4, 5, 6, 7) 4. Especially if you’re avoiding processed vegan foods (which are often fortified with vitamin B12), you’ll need to find a supplement and take it consistently, since there are really no reliable dietary sources of B12 for vegans. (Algae like spirulina, often rumored to contain B12, only has B12 analogues that won’t actually improve your B12 status.) 5. A lot of people are sensitive to or have no access to “Vitamin B12 fortified foods” like yeasts, cereals, soy products, etc. ★ Vitamin D3 1. Of the two types of vitamin D, cholecalciferol (from animals) is much more potent than ergocalciferol. In other words, it increases blood levels of bioactive vitamin D much more efficiently. (57, 58, 59) ★ DHA 1. In the body, DHA can also be made from the omega-3 fatty acid ALA, which is found in high amounts in flaxseeds, chia seeds and walnuts (65, 66, 67). However, the conversion of ALA to DHA is inefficient (68, 69). For this reason, vegetarians and vegans are often lower in DHA than meat eaters (70, 71, 72). ★ Heme-iron 1. Heme-iron is a type of iron only found in meat, especially red meat. It is much better absorbed than non-heme iron found in plant foods (76). Not only is heme-iron well absorbed, it also improves the absorption of non-heme iron from plant foods. This phenomenon is not entirely understood and is called the "meat factor." 2. Unlike non-heme iron, heme-iron is not affected by antinutrients, such as phytic acid, often found in plant foods. For this reason, vegetarians and vegans are more prone to anemia than meat eaters, especially women and people on macrobiotic diets (5, 77). Meat, especially red meat, contains a type of iron called heme-iron, which is much better absorbed than non-heme iron from plant foods.
Vegan YouTuber Rawvana admits she quit being vegan after 6 years due to health problems and her period disappearing.
Check the video she posted about it on her YouTube channel here.
This all happened after she was caught eating fish in Mexico, and you can read the full details in this news article. Naturally, the vegan community is absolutely livid and crawling all over for doing what was best for her health and trying to get better, instead of just ruining her body and health “for the animals.”
So many radical vegans eat a ton of meat/dairy substitutes that so many people can’t afford or don’t have access to, all the while preaching that everyone can and should be vegan, no excuses. If anyone says they can’t afford those products or don’t have access to them, it’s all “beans and rice r so cheap!! no excuses!!!” while they eat their Beyond Meat burger with vegan cheese, vegan mayo, and vegan bacon. They also love to link those “eating vegan for cheap!” videos (where they tell you to live off white rice, beans, and frozen peas) which are mostly created by vegans as a one-time challenge before they go back to eating all of their meat/dairy substitutes lmao.
