So, I am taking a class where the final is worth 50% of my grade. Every year in the past the final exam was open book because of the sheer amount of formulas that are covered in this course and all the wavelengths of various lasers. This year, because of the chaos of having new professors (yes plural, there are multiple profs for this class) the exam is now closed book. We get three pieces of paper, single sided, to condense 600 pages of information onto.  All the students fought back, saying that they cannot give us a full lab report to do and expect us to make a formula sheet. For the most part everyone is now struggling to find the balance between doing examples and frantically making a formula sheet. I’m currently 5/22 lectures in and hating my existence. I’ve retained next to nothing just because I am trying to juggle so many other deadlines.  I never thought I would regret taking a course as much as I regret taking this class I am currently in. 9.10.17 | GRE Study Challenge | Day 7/84

I finished making my own GRE formula sheet for the Quant section!

I focused on things that I need to work on and left out redundant topics I’ve already mastered

I highly recommend looking at the Magoosh GRE Formula guide [X] , as I used it heavily. But definitely supplement it with the ETS Math Review [X] and other useful tidbits you pick up while doing practice problems. 

I feel so much better knowing I’ve at least reviewed all the topics (I had to as I was making the study guide lol) and now I have a solid foundation to take one many many practice problems

Wow! Today was a lot busier than expected and I can’t believe tomorrow is Friday (and the day Trump gets inaugurated…)

Anyways, here’s a glimpse into what I did today as review for a quiz I have on vectors tomorrow and a quick glance at some important things I have coming up at school.

Also, I am taking the SAT on Saturday, and if any of y'all are, I wish you the best of luck!! This will be my first time taking the SAT since middle school and I’m kinda nervous so if you have any test taking tips, feel free to message me or send me an ask!!
