Closed Starter: Two's a Crowd

They have a saying: One riot, one ranger. Well, one and a half, in this case. Will was still an apprentice. But no matter. The ambush must have been perfectly planned out. To be able to overcome two (or so) rangers was certainly quite a feat. Though it may have been because the attackers' opening move was to shoot the apprentice through the side with an arrow. Will tried to fight back, but his vision grew increasingly blurry. He bumped into a tree, then staggered back deeper into the forest. Before he knew it, he was left with no choice but to retreat from the battle. Eventually, the German shepherd had to stop. He was in too much pain to continue, and he was already lost. No use in continuing to waste energy. He slung his pack off of his shoulder as well as his longbow. @foxrabbit92
