It's that time of year when people start clickbaiting A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving. People will tell you this special is racist because Franklin is sitting all by himself. Some here's some fast facts:

Franklin's addition to the Peanuts cast was not an accident or an afterthought, it was very deliberate. Schulz wanted to add a black character after the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr, as a way to show he stood against hate.

Schulz had to fight for Franklin to be included. His newspaper syndicate demanded to have him omitted, which led to Schulz threatening to quit the comic entirely.

Franklin was named after and based on Robb Franklin Armstrong, a real-life friend of Schulz. To this day, Robb considers this an honor.

The reason Franklin is all by himself on the other side of the table isn't because he's being excluded. It was to make sure he could be seen clearly, without obstruction, so everyone knew he was there.
