The reason why I personally love Itachi x Sakura as a pairing is because firstly I really love both characters individually.

They would definitely be an amazing couple if the circumstances were there.

Secondly, Itachi deserved the whole world. He deserved happiness, love, hugs, kisses and most of all someone who would take care of him. (Because we all know he’s shit at taking care of himself.)

Sakura is too good for Sasuke. (Still my personal opinion, and I have no issue with SasuSaku or people who ship it!)

But anyway. The reason I think Sakura deserve more is because she has so much to give. She’s loyal, honest, fierce and really care about her friends and family.

This is where ItaSaku comes in. They are a crack ship, not canon at all, and I’ve accepted it. I still dream tho. An alternative universe where they did meet. They would be able to have intellectual conversations, she would allow him to get in touch with his emotional side.

She would heal him physically and mentally, and to return the favour he would give her the support she need to become better. Ground her at times, help her become stronger and make her the best version of herself.

Also the fan arts of this pairing are SO GOOD

Since no one asked, this is how I found Naruto and how I enjoyed the story from childhood to today.

I was only a wee lass, maybe 9-10 years old (?) me and my two cousins discovered Naruto. This is where it began, my rollercoaster of emotions and root of my unhealthy obsession with fictional characters.

I started watching Naruto anime and was ofcourse a Sasuske simp. The first naruto amv I watched was SasuSaku Everytime we touch… but y’all guessed it, big bro Itachi came into the picture and I was hooked.

As I finished both anime and manga for Naruto, I moved on to shippuden anime. Sadly I had to wait for episodes and just started the Manga instead. (Note: this was when shippuden was at like episode 100 and still airing).

I stopped watching the anime for a time and only read the Manga until the Manga finally ended. So many ups and downs and heartbreaks. I took a long break from naruto after that.

2017, the year naruto shippuden was close to ending, I rewatched all shippuden. I simped and I simped for my homie Itachi. I started to really appreciate Kakashi aswell. Seeing him with new eyes. I skipped the fillers, because I had that luxury.

I finished the anime. I was deep into the fanfictions and memes. Then poof, I left the Naruto bubble and moved on.

I did try Boruto when it aired, but at the time it didn’t appeal to me.

2022, this year I did my Hero’s comeback. I first started by only watching spesific episodes (itachi episodes *cough*) which led me to finding him…. Madara… the man, the myth, the legend.

WHEN I TELL YOU I SIMPED HARD, I MEAN I WAS OBSESSED. MADARA WAS EVERYTHING I COULD DREAM OF. THE FANFICS, THE FAN ART, THE SCENE MADARA VS SHINOBI ALLIANCE. Ok, let’s just say I really enjoy Madara hehe.

So I ended up watching all his scenes aswell, and then I watched the ninja war arc again.

There’s no secret that I am a Sakura simp, so ofc she’s my little shipping whore. And as the trash I am, I started shipping MadaSaku.

After my hardcore Madara fase I went back to my good old Kakashi. As a child, I didnt really notice him, he was just an old fart. Side character, thank you next etc… but in 2016 I saw him with fresh eyes. As I grew older, I started appreciating more or the adults.

This is probably why I ship KakaSaku. Because as Sakura grew up and became an adult, she would probably feel the same. Sadly she’s burdened with the teacher/student thing which make people yay yuck to the ship. Also those disgusting perverts who ship child/teen sakura with kakashi… like wtf??? Ew??? No???

MOVING ON… Now in 2022, I started rewatching Naruto from the beginning. I mean BEGINNING, like WE ARE FIGHTING DREAMERS. Seeing all my lil babies being babies are so bittersweet.
