It's Friday to me. So I'm not a day late. Watch the rest of this poem on my IGTV channel. I think it answers the basic concept of Grace which I believe every Christian should properly learn about. Grace is the foundation on which our relationship with God as a Christian is built on. I first properly understood Grace when I watched the "Grace like a flood" series by Pastor Mike Todd in the summer. You guys should check it out on YouTube. But basically that series clarified the meaning of Grace to me and altered it's importance in my life. And let me tell you Grace doesn't just save but is sustains and empowers me in everything I do. I just want everyone to have the opportunity to know how great Grace is too. It is transforming this judgemental and prideful girl (me) into something beautiful like a Cinnamon tree. Love God -> Love yourself -> Love others. So I started going to life group sessions which is like a book club but it's a group of Christians coming together and reflecting on Sunday's message. There's a bunch of questions from the theme and we reflect on how they affect our everyday life. It's honestly beautiful and really challenges me. Like a future doctor once said "what doesn't challenge you isn't changing you". The task we were set is to be encouraging so I thought about the times when we disconnect with others and feel like it's no longer our place to check on them. Guys it's always okay to check on someone. It's okay to encourage. Humans aren't meant to be alone. Encouragement is essential. Never pass up an occassion to elevate someone else.
