Mission name: Coconut chutney/Coconut thuvaiyal/ Pottukadalai thovaiyal Ground set up: Finely diced or grated Coconut - 4tbsp Roasted gram/pottukadalai - 1tbsp Green chillies - 2nos Puli/tamarind - size of a small gooseberry or grape Salt - 1tsp Kadugu/mustard seeds - 1tsp Curry leaves - 2sprigs Dried red chilli - 1no Gingerly oil - 2tbsp No. of disasters per fire: 3persons How to launch: 1. Take a blender, add coconut + roasted gram + green chillies + tamarind + salt and grind it to a fine paste. Transfer it to a bowl. 2. For the tempering take a small kadai, add gingerly oil to heat up, add mustard seeds to crackle, finally add the dried chilli + Curry leaves and roast it till the curry leaves turn crispy and dried chilli turn brown. 3.Pour the tempering into the chutney, give it a good mix and serve. Mission launched: Appetizing with dosa or idlies. Post mission expedition: 1. You can also add 2or3 finely chopped shallots while tempering. 2.
