Straykids felix babysitting with toddler pov? Maybe the daugther of bang chan?
A/N: Thank you for the Requst and i love the Idea of Felix as the Babysitter! I hope you like what i made with your Request =)
Supermarket Customer
Felix was about to try to eat something again, but you, full of euphoria and pushing the small shopping cart in front of you, had other plans.
"Nix! Nix! Pway!"- you say, pushing the toy shopping cart right up to the chair Felix is sitting on.
Felix, holding his fork half over his plate and half on its way to his mouth, paused and looked down at you.
"Hello little Baby Leader, almost forgot I'm on babysitting duty," Felix said, ruffling your head with his free hand.
"Appa work!" - you said importantly, after all, your Appa – Bang Chan – had explained to you that Felix was looking after you and that he'd be gone a little later today because of work.
Even though you would have loved to come along and hop around the Stray Kids leader like a little excited rabbit during the one-on-one dance sessions because… because… because you can dance as well as your Appa! But Bang Chan was very clear and took you back to the nursery and then said goodbye.
And now you really wanted to play with Felix!
Of course, you didn't care at all that Nix was eating something. You had pushed the little shopping cart all the way from your room to the dining area of the apartment…Felix should now play with you.
"That's right! And until then, the world's best babysitter will take care of you. Maybe the other boys will join us later! Han and Changbin wanted to keep playing with the Lego," - Felix grinned, and you giggled. It was always soooo fun when all the boys and Appa were together…then there were lots of adults playing with you (or secretly slipping you sweets).
"Nix and me pway! Supermarket"
"Oh supermarket! Okay, what do we need?"
"Banana and pizza!"
"Oh, can you be Felix's big helper and get them from your toy supermarket, please?"
Motivated, you clap your hands together, place them on your little toy shopping card, and toddle off to your room to get the banana and pizza toys.
Two minutes later, you walk back to Felix (who has now finished eating a bit of his meal) and are very careful to tell your babysitter to come to the supermarket with you too.
"No pway too! No eat! PWAY!" - You let your shopping cart roll against one of the legs of the dining table, walk over to Felix's chair, and playfully grab his free hand to get him to stand up.
"But Nix is so hungry!" - Felix pretended to whine dramatically.
"Supermarket!"
"Well, that's an argument I can't argue with… okay, then my late lunch has to wait," - Felix said, putting his cutlery aside and following you as you continued to hold his hand, encouraging him toward your room.
And together you were, until Bangchan and the other StrayKids arrived—the very best customers…
the Toy Supermarket had ever seen.
THE END
the way mike and will move around each other after years of growing up side by side feels deeply familial to me. they have the energy of boys who became part of each other’s households at such a young age that the relationship blurred into something brotherly.
mike especially often slips into an older brother role with will — protective, watchful, sometimes impatient, but always looking out for him underneath it all. there’s this constant sense throughout the series that mike feels responsible for will’s wellbeing, whether that’s emotionally grounding him, defending him, or making sure he’s okay after everything that happened. it doesn’t come across as romantic tension to me so much as a kid who learned very early that someone he loves needs extra care, and who instinctively stepped into that role.
mike treats will the way you treat someone who’s been in your life so long they’ve become permanent background noise to your existence. comfortable, automatic, sometimes dismissive, sometimes protective, but never with that tension or curiosity the show gives his relationship with el.
the california fight especially doesn’t play like “repressed romantic tension” on mike’s end to me — it feels more like two people realizing their relationship has changed and not knowing how to handle it. mike is frustrated because will suddenly feels distant and shut off from him, while will is hurt because mike isn’t noticing him the way he used to. and that imbalance is part of what makes the scene sad. will’s feelings clearly run deeper and more complicated on his side.
and honestly, the show repeatedly frames mike differently around romantic love versus familial love:
with el, mike softens. he gets nervous, clingy, emotional, obsessive. she completely alters his center of gravity.
with will, mike falls into a rhythm that feels instinctive and long-established — teasing each other, arguing, reassuring him, looking out for him without even thinking about it. their dynamic feels rooted in familiarity and habit, something comfortable and deeply ingrained rather than charged with longing.
people always point to mike caring deeply about will as proof of romance, but the entire point of the party is that these boys love each other deeply platonically. the show has never treated emotional intimacy between friends as automatically romantic. if anything, stranger things consistently values friendship and found family as much as romance.
i think their dynamic is genuinely meaningful on its own. not every intense relationship between two boys has to become romantic to matter.
This Hazbin Hotel collage is of Helsa Von Eldritch and Crymini, as she and Crymini both appeared in the pilot. My first batch of Crymini ship/friendship collages focused on the artworks Crymini was featured in, beside the original Hazbin Hotel cast from when she, Mimzy and Baxter were first set to be main characters. And before you ask, I placed Helmini as a friendship collage, as I won't ship a teenager with an adult.
Because Crymini had a very brief appearance in the pilot, I had to use official artworks of her. So credit to the artworks in the collage go to Vivienne Madrino and other staff members of the Hellaverse team. While Viv confirming that she'll be cutting some of the older characters out, I'm worried that Crymini might be one of them. Since Pentious turned from an one off character to a main one, from the attention and fan support he got, I'm hoping that drawing attention towards Crymini with my collages, and other fanworks that other people create of Crymini, might save her from the cut. It's a long shot, but the feeling of trying is better then doing nothing.
"I would die and sacrifice everything for you,but you wouldn't do the same for me"
But it's Percy when he took the prophecy so Nico wouldn't have to,and it's Nico when he tried to do everything to help Percy when he didn't trust him.
They might not be that close but their relationship is so complex and their tragic friendship is everything to me. HoO trully killed their dynamic for me.
Parfois, les amitiés ne se brisent pas en fracas, mais se fanent en silence, comme si l’autre avait oublié que ton cœur battait encore pour deux
I keep coming across this point in DBDA, where Carles points out to Edwin that he (Edwin) and Crystal are fairly similar and maybe that's the reason why he (Charles) likes her so much. And it is always interpreted as evidence that Charles is obviously in love with Edwin.
And don't get me wrong, I enjoy payneland as much as anyone else, but I have to say this:
It is possible to like a person without sexual attraction.
You can like a certain type of person: smart, witty, a little snobbish, elegant, fearless, etc. And that liking has nothing to do with whether you want to snog their face off or not, but has everything to do with the kind of people you like and find fascinating. What Charles is saying is "yeah, she isn't perfect, but neither are you, and I love you for it". It is both an attempt to point out similarities to get Edwin like Crystal and a reassurance of how much Charles loves Edwin.
And I think this is actually a big part of what DBDA is about, and why it has captured so many of us: these characters love and respect each other, they find each other interesting it has nothing to do with the romantic storyline. Real love, at least how I see it, is not just about find someone sexually attractive, it is about a deep connection, trust and actually liking that someone as a person. It is not that different from close friendship, not at all: you know your close friends well, you know each other's flaws, you have seen each other at your worst and at your best, and you love them anyway. Not because they are perfect, but because you like them as people, flaws and all.
