Celebrate Friendsgiving with a decadent Bacon & Beer Infused Pasta dinner, the ultimate comfort food for a cozy night in
Bacon Mushroom Beer Alfredo
Indulge in a rich and flavorful pasta dish featuring crispy bacon, earthy mushrooms, and a creamy beer-infused Alfredo sauce. Perfect for a cozy night in or a special dinner with loved ones.
Ingredients: 8 oz pasta of your choice. 6 slices bacon, chopped. 1 cup mushrooms, sliced. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1/2 cup beer preferably lager or ale. 1 cup heavy cream. 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese. Salt and black pepper to taste. Fresh parsley for garnish optional.
Instructions: Follow the directions on the package to cook the pasta until it is al dente. Remove the water and set it aside. Boil chopped bacon in a big pan over medium-low heat until it gets crispy. Take the bacon out of the pan and set it aside. The fat from the bacon should stay in the pan. Put minced garlic and sliced mushrooms in the same pan. It will take about 5 minutes of cooking until the mushrooms are golden brown and the garlic smells good. Use beer to clean out the pan and scrape up any browned bits on the bottom. Add heavy cream and bring to a low boil. For two to three minutes, or until slightly thicker. Grated Parmesan cheese and cooked pasta should be added to the pan. Toss the pasta around until it's all covered and the sauce gets thicker. To taste, add salt and black pepper. Add the cooked bacon. Add fresh parsley as a garnish if you like. Enjoy while hot!

This chicken dish that was baked is thick, creamy, and full of flavor. It's great for a cozy dinner with family or friends or for impressing guests with little work.
Ingredients: 4 chicken breasts. 1/2 cup butter. 1 cup heavy cream. Salt and pepper to taste. 1 teaspoon garlic powder. 1 teaspoon paprika. 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley optional.
Instructions: Warm the oven up to 190C 375F. Salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika can be used to season chicken breasts. Melt the butter in a pan over medium-low heat. The chicken breasts should be browned on both sides after being added to the pan. This should take about 34 minutes per side. Put the chicken breasts in a baking dish. Cover the chicken breasts with heavy cream. Place the dish in an oven that has already been heated up. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and the sauce is bubbly and golden brown. If you want, you can add chopped parsley as a garnish before serving.

Hello my sweet, soft-hearted Cozylings 🍂🧡✨ Friendsgiving has always felt like a little pause in the middle of the busy season, and this year is no different maybe even more special. There’s something about seeing the same faces gather at your table year after year, sharing stories, laughs, and little dishes of love, that makes your heart feel full in a way nothing else can. Hosting this celebration at my home, for the second or third year in a row, has become a tradition I hold so close. It’s not about having everything perfect or fancy. It’s about warmth. It’s about people arriving with hearts open, about laughter spilling through the rooms, about tiny moments of connection that settle into memory like golden light. Every clink of a glass, every shared bite, every sigh of contentment these are the things that linger. This year, as I filled my table with soft textures, glowing candles, autumn hues, and all the cozy flavors we love, I felt so grateful. Grateful for the people around me. Grateful for the comfort of home. Grateful for the small traditions that make the season feel soft, intentional, and magical. I hope your Friendsgiving, cozyling however you celebrate it, wherever you are fills you with warmth. I hope it brings the same kind of quiet happiness, the same gentle glow, the same soft reminder that you are surrounded by love, even if in spirit. That every shared smile, every bite, every hug, is its own little memory to treasure. May your table feel full. May your heart feel full. And may the laughter, the warmth, and the love you share this Friendsgiving continue to glow in the days and months ahead. Thank you for being part of my cozy world. Thank you for celebrating this little annual tradition with me. And most of all, thank you for carrying a piece of this warmth wherever you go. Happy Friendsgiving, from my home to yours. 🍂🧡✨

Hope you guys had as good of a Thanksgiving as we did. The holiday promotional shenanigans will soon start in earnest. Though we have to hit some holiday sales first. I know the sockmonkey really wants to get his paws on a copy of Mall Madness this year. #thanksgiving #thanksgivingdinner #bookstagram #authorsofinstagram #friendsgivingdinner #bffs❤️ #holidaysarecoming https://www.instagram.com/p/ClZpD1Zyqng/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
Unlike most years where I spend time with my adopted family the Stoups in San Diego and in particular with Pete and John I stayed in Los Angeles this year. Lisa was kind enough to add me as her guest to Jeremy and Celeste’s Friendsgiving party. Susan was also in attendance too. Susan brought her roommate Kelly as well. There were 18 guest in all. There was a number of very healthy conversations among all of us. The folks attending were artist, involved in entertainment and in music people. We all gathered together to share our gratitude on thanksgiving on Thanksgiving. Susan prepared the green bean casserole and Lisa made a delicious cake but my mind can’t specifically remember the type a cake it was because Lisa manages to be very creative with her food preparation and she’s an excellent cook. I enjoyed a tasty slice of her cake with special sauce you drizzled all over it. Our host’s home has a beautiful panoramic view of Los Angeles which includes both DTLA and the Wilshire corridor with Eagle Rock and Highland Part in the foreground that expand to those two above locations. It was a very relaxing afternoon where people share the gift of gab between themselves. I hope your Thanksgiving was as equally pleasurable. #friendsgiving #friendsgivingdinner #eaglerock #highlandpark #sunset #thanksgiving #thanksgivingdinner #foodphotograph #turkeydinner #friendship (at Eagle Rock/Highland Park) https://www.instagram.com/p/ClXg3Bmr-AB/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
