Spring in the Canadian Rockies (Banff National Park) by Mark Stevens Via Flickr: I've been to Petyo Lake many times over the decades, but it had always been over the summer months when glacial flour brings out vibrant turquoise color. Having come from Austin and the Texas area where May weather has more of a warmer temperature with flowers and all in bloom, it was a surprise to see all the snow still on the ground in the Canadian Rockies. Then I saw Peyto Lake with more of a blue color from the still partially melted ice and snow. Beautiful! What a beautiful spring day in the Canadian Rockies!
Aurorahiberna/Borealishiberna
Tw: eye-strain Aurorahiberna/Borealishiberna is a gender in the Scene System that's like relaxing and sitting on ice while staring at the dancing Northern Lights. It goes along with this imagery:
"A frozen over part of the Arctic Ocean is where you decided to sit down and relax after a long day. As you sit the Northern lights keep dancing in the sky. The cold breeze gently blows your hair back but it doesn't disturb you. You can smell the fresh arctic air surrounding you. You feel around, lightly touching the snow, feeling the soft texture with your fingertips. Everything is calm as you just sit in silence staring at the phenomenon over you." I also made the flag so it would kind of have a meaning and kind of not. Basically the black/really dark color is the night sky the two greenish stripes under it are the Northern Lights and the blue, white, etc represent the ice and water. The Frozen Over series also aims to detail what happened with the Cataclysm of August 2219, with a team of dedicated researchers diving into the highly classified event.
What’s ur writing elevator pitch?
Reader! Yes, you! Are you interested in Yet Another Urban Fantasy story? Yes yes, I know - "Narrator, all Urban Fantasy stories tend to have supernatural creatures hiding! What's the point?!" No longer! Here we have undead postal workers, aquatic cashiers, centaur gym trainers... The list goes on! But that's not all! For a low, low price of free, we'll also throw in a big batch of time travel, interplanetary war, and two (two!) apocalyptic paradox causing world-changing events!
"But Narrator, doesn't that ruin your entire timeline?" It sure does! :)
