Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens

Brown paper packages tied up with strings Cream-colored ponies and crisp apple strudels

Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings Girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes

Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes Silver-white winters that melt into springs These are a few of my favorite things

When the dog bites When the bee stings When I'm feeling sad

I simply remember my favorite things And then I don't feel so bad~

#my favorite things from sound of music themed photos #my sister spent ages putting together the pieces for this #it was meant to be done last year the weekend of helene so of course it didn't happen #and since then we never found time #barely had time for it this year and some people who were originally going to do it couldn't be there #and it had to be so rushed we didn't have time to work on set up and lighting and clarity #so the photos are what they are #and I think my sister was a little disappointed her creative dreams didn't quite turn out how she hoped #but it was still a lot of fun so I decided to just go ahead and post the photos of me here #because it was fun and i don't do photos anymore for many reasons #so even though they aren't perfect it was a happy time worth sharing and i thought a lot of her ideas were very clever #my photos

Last October ~ and now you are gone.

#i wasn't going to post any pictures from this day because I didn't think they were good enough #but they have been sitting in my drafts for a year now #this was one of my favorite places so beautiful and peaceful #i loved it here so much #but now like so much around me it is completely gone #and all i have left are photos #last october when i was there a volunteer was going around giving everyone mini pumpkins #it was such a fun surprise and a wonderful day overall #i wonder if there will ever be wonderful days and beautiful places around me ever again #my photos #self photos
