Indulge in the sweet and tangy flavors of wild blackberries with this creamy and refreshing ice cream.
Ingredients: 2 cups fresh wild blackberries. 1 cup granulated sugar. 2 cups heavy cream. 1 cup whole milk. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
Instructions: Using a blender, blend the blackberries until they are smooth. Over medium-low heat, mix the blackberry puree and sugar in a saucepan. For about 5 minutes, stir the food every now and then until the sugar is gone. Take the mixture off the heat and let it cool down all the way. Whisk the heavy cream, whole milk, and vanilla extract together in a bowl. Add the blackberry mixture that has been cooled and mix it in well. Put the mixture in an ice cream maker and churn it for as long as the maker's instructions say to, which is usually between 25 and 30 minutes. Moving the ice cream to a container that can go in the freezer is the next step. Freeze for at least 4 hours, or until firm.
