hi
im making a blog
i’m a trans guy and i’m 5 months on t
I’ll be posting all my experiences with my transition with as little disclosure as possible
FTM:
1. Aim for a more masculine haircut
2. Bind and pack (depends on your comfort level and dysphoria. Be careful binding or packing if it only makes you more dysphoric so it's not unhealthy.)
3. Wear more traditionally masculine clothing
4. Try to lower your voice and observe how cis men tend to talk- often slower
5. Make an effort to do more strength and weight training
6. Work on raising your natural testosterone levels by eating more of specific foods (testsoterone boosting: tuna, egg yolks, oysters, shellfish, garlic, coconut, beef and beans. Estrogen blocking: kale, cauliflower, broccoli, mushrooms, whole grains, pomegranates, grapes, olive oil, spinach, onions and citrus.)
Feel free to comment down below if you have any more tips//suggestions

FTM Encouragement
• NEVER LOSE HOPE. One day, you will start testosterone. Even if you have to wait to turn 18, even if you can’t afford it right now, even if you’re scared. You will start one day. • DONT LET ANYONE MISGENDER YOU. Even if it’s your teachers, parents, friends, do not let anyone misgender or deadname you. If you let them think it’s okay, you are proving it’s okay, and therefore saying they can disrespect any trans person. You are who you are, and be proud of it! • THIS BODY IS ONLY TEMPORARY. Be patient! Even if you’re on T, changes take months to happen. Fear not, they will come. If you’re sad about your hips, try exercising to lose some weight on them! Or if you don’t like your chest, do the same or try to bind (please use gc2b, underworks isn’t meant for the use of trans people and their binders will hurt you) • PRACTICE SELF LOVE. It’s so hard, but tell yourself that you are beautiful every day, and it will become easier. Even if starting T makes you hate yourself less, it’s good to try to love yourself in the first place. Believe me, if you do that, starting T will only make it better. That’s all for today, and I hope it helps!

FTM PASSING TIPS
I will start with hips, because that is a common issue with dysphoria. I don't have picture examples, but try it out and it may work for you. What I do that helps a lot is find the right pair of jeans. I usually aim for slim straight and sometimes skinny jeans. If you're shopping online, take notice how the jeans fit on the male models in the preview pictures. If the jeans they're modeling makes their hips look large, they will do the same to yours. Cisgender men have slimmer hips than us, so if the pants your viewing emphasizes theirs, the pants will definitely emphasize yours, which is what you want to avoid. If you're shopping in a store always try the jeans or pants on. DO NOT go a size up in waist. That's a common misconception that will destroy your passing ability. It will ENLARGE your hips. I actually try to buy a size too small in the hips. You want them to be tight. You want the pants or jeans to still be snug on your thighs but then get loose at the bottom near your ankles. It will make your legs look like they're straight like a cis mans and not curvy like a woman's. that's why I prefer slim straight, because it does exactly what I explained when you find the right pair. Next is shirts. Shirts also play a large part in passing. Of course find a shirt that clings to your arms a little if it's a t shirt so that your biceps look larger. If you're wearing a long sleeve, find one that's loose around your arms if you have scrawny ones. You don't want a shirt that is tight around the waist, as it will show your hips. You want to keep them a secret ;). You want a shirt that is flowing around the waist and a little longer, but not too much. This may seem impossible to find, but with some searching you'll find some good shirts. Just be picky. I have 3 t shirts in my wardrobe that I'm confident in wearing because they fit my description. You don't need a lot of t shirts. Wearing open flannels or shirts will also help if they're long because they will hide the hips by covering the width of them. Plus, flannels usually bulk up your midsection. Next is hair. Obviously, cut it. If you want to pass, it's imperative that you cut it. If you're attached to your long locks, so be it. But it might be your worst enemy. If you want to pass with long hair, don't style it or go for the man bun. It's also better if you avoid the Beiber hairdo, as it will make you look like a little girl. You want a haircut that will emphasize your jawline, so go for one that is shorter on the sides and longer on top. If you're attached to your hair, you do you. This is just what helps for most transmen. You can also try to mimic facial hair, although it's very difficult to pull off. It has to be realistic, or people will know it's not real. Try manscara (highlighting peach fuzz with mascara). But be careful, as it can get clumped. Avoid clumps. This is why doing that is hard, because of clumps, so if you're bad at it, you might want to avoid it or put in extra practice to pull it off. If it doesn't work, shave. Cis men don't have peach fuzz. I personally use manscara and have been for a while so I'm fairly good at it now and know how to stop clumps. Try it out. Next is binding. Don't use an ace bandage or duct tape, or anything that's not an approved binder. In my opinion, GC2B is the best company. Make sure to get your size and don't go a size smaller. This will hurt you and may make it to where you can't get top surgery in the future. If you're smaller chested, try to use KT tape, an approved sports tape. Make sure to watch tutorials so you don't hurt yourself while using it, because even though it's approved, you can still hurt yourself. Binding will help with passing significantly. Next is voice. There's not much you can do with voice. Do not pick up smoking to lower it, it's a dumb idea and doesn't even work that well. Try humming real low for 30 seconds a few times a day or try to sing a Men's part in a song over and over. Try to develop a rasp in your voice. If it doesn't work, that's really sad and I'm sorry. Try talking as little as possible or just talking slower. It'll help. Men don't talk that much anyway. Next is being a man. Sounds weird. Have swagger! Most men are confident. Most men are raging with testosterone and it's quite obvious. All you can do is fake it. Walk with a straight back and broaden your shoulders. Don't worry about your chest being shown off, most men have pecs anyway. Cis men don't usually have flat chests. The cis men you see with flat chests are usually stick thin, so don't worry too much about it. Don't talk with your hands to much, men don't. Simply, BE A MAN. It's the honest truth. Of course, be your own person, but this post is for passing tips. Naturally, I'm going to be honest with you on how to pass. But be yourself! These are just tips that work the best for me and I pass 99% of the time. Good luck!
