So I stayed in a hotel last night and the couple next door to me decided to have a raging fight at midnight. I would have preferred loud sex which probably wouldn't have lasted very long so I could have then gone to sleep.

It was the kind of fight that they kept going back to, and I could only hear scraps through the shrill/gruff bellowing

1. Someone called Michael was being blamed for "always being involved". How he was involved and what with remained unclear.

2. Woman kept saying "And???" In a really obnoxious way.

3. Slamming doors.

4. Hissed phone conversation in stairwell by the man about "fucking Michael"

5. "Why am I here? Why do I stay?" I do not know, my dude. Please leave so I can sleep.

6. I had to call the hotel porter to get them to STFU because I was vaguely concerned it would escalate to violence

7. Before the porter even walked away, they started arguing again about the shame of being told to STFU by a hotel porter and who was to blame.

8. After about a minute of increasingly irate arguing about the porter telling them to shut up, the dude yelled: "Stop talking. Stop talking. Just stop talking!!!"

9. The woman did NOT stop talking (arguing). "Why do you always do this?"

10. At this point I sort of wanted one of them to kill the other so maybe I could sleep.

11. Dude stormed out of the room, slammed the door, called a taxi. Thank god.

12. Woman then proceeded to slam things around in her hotel room for half an hour and occasionally let out a jagged sob.

So now I'm groggy, sleep deprived and vaguely curious about the drama while also very unsympathetic about their hotel break up.

It is a gorgeous hotel though.

Just binged Lucifer season 5 part 1 until 5:30 am and I have some FUCKING THOUGHTS. Spoilers ahead.

#1 and most importantly: God chooses now, NOW, NOW to show up and intervene when he’s been sitting on his damn ass doing nothing helpful for fucking 5 seasons. What an unhelpful dumbass and there’s no way he’ll have a good enough explanation for me.

#2: I understand that it’s important to humanize the characters, whether they are human or celestial beings visiting earth. HOWEVER they are so damn selfish this season. So. Many. Things. Could be solved with a little less of everyone revolving around their fucking selves.

#3: Dan. I stg Dan. He just grates on my fucking nerves like no one else can and he lives on dumbass juice. I mean Michael’s like “Kill Lucifer and all of your sins are atoned and you’ll live forever with Charlotte Richards.” And then he’s just like “I kiLl luCIfeR aNd i Am gOod BoY gO to HeaVEn anD sEe chArLotTe.”

#4: Pete. Who the hell. They show us Ella with bad boy after bad boy and emphasize the HELL out of it and how she needs a good boy and then Ted Bundy look alike ass comes along and is too good to her and gives her a house key after what? A week? We all done been KNEW that man was creepy.

#4.5: Side note: The actor who played Pete deserves a fucking Oscar. This man gave me fucking chills. Bravo!

#5: LILY ROSE. TBH. The hardest bitch I ever seen. However no excuse to fucking hurt sweet Mazikeen, my love, just to prove that Lucifer’s not the best friend in the world. Another way to show us just how selfish he is.

#6 MICHAEL. MICHAEL. WHAT THE FUCK. SO MANY THOUGHTS THAT I CAN NOT BEGIN TO ARTICULATE

I have more thoughts, but no sleep and lots of frustration so good night for now
