gaius has all the braincells in camelot and he keeps them in his broom cupboard. he gave one to gwen because he knew he could trust her with it, and when lancelot first came to camelot he also got one. gwen occasionally shares her braincell with arthur and merlin. lance shared his braincell with the knights (and by ‘the knights’ i mean leon and elyan), but unfortunately, after he died, it was lost forever.
