it is the final confrontation with dream, and it is unbelievably dramatic.
pandora’s vault, moved to the top of a volcano in the name of safety, is in shambles. ranboo, tubbo, and tommy are there, bedraggled but alive. a helicopter, piloted by sam nook, whirls several hundred feet below, moving upwards at a rapid pace.
dream speaks first.
“you can’t defeat me now. i built the prison, do you think i wouldn’t have a way to get out?
i’m going to escape, and philza and technoblade will take me in. there’s nothing you can do.”
tommy opens his mouth to speak, but can’t get a word in before the intercontinental thermonuclear missile drops out of the sky without warning.
the explosion destroys the ruins of the prison and sends all four flying.
tommy, from his place on the ground, awakens first, and looks over at tubbo.
“that one of yours?”
“no, it’s not.”
and then the rumbling starts. a compartment in the missile, somehow still intact, opens.
dream lies prone on the ground, meters away from the open volcano. he opens his eyes to see a hazy figure.
“hey, dream.”
“hey...?”
“just wanted to let you know something.”
a piece of paper gets shoved into dream’s hands. he looks at it. it’s a picture of vikkstar.
“there can only be one vikk-tor.”
and with that, Charlie Slimecicle kicks Dream into the lava below.
