We’re already a day into 2018, so here are my tentative cosplay plans for this year 😄 Some of these are already underway (mainly Ella, Rey and Diana), while others are just loose plans/dreams for now.
Ever since I did Padme’s Picnic dress last year I seem to have caught the Padme cosplay bug, meaning I’ll hopefully get around to making her Geonosis battle outfit and her Packing gown sometime over the next few months. I miiight already have some of the fabrics and patterns ready… 😉
I’m also hoping to make my first foray into the world of Harry Potter cosplay, specifically Fleur Delacour from GoF (a costume I fell in love with instantly when I saw the movie for the first time) and my very own Ravenclaw robes.
The last two years were mostly dedicated to Star Wars and Harley Quinn, but I watched the Lord of the Rings trilogy again for the first time in a while (I know, I was just as shocked that it has been so long) a couple of days ago and that has reignited my first cosplay love. 2018 also happens to mark ten years of me seeing the movies for the first time and being properly introduced to Tolkien, so it’s only fitting that I’ll be getting back to my roots, so to speak ^^ Let’s see if I’ll get around to making Arwen’s Requiem dress and my first ever crossplay, Helm’s Deep Legolas…
Which of these are you most excited to see me make?
