Future of Medicine
They said what?
With today's exciting news here is a reminder of possible future Doctor incarnations Russel hinted at in his novel adaption of Rose; we could expect this kinda of boldness for his next Doctor and that is amazing
Every version of the Doctor - 91
The future Doctor (The Blue Angel)
A barely glimpsed incarnation somewhere in the Eighth Doctor’s future, armed with an elephant gun and sporting an eye patch. He shared adventures with Iris Wildthyme in her Barbarella incarnation.
June Hudson, the costume designer for season 18 (she created the Doctor’s burgundy look) drew character designs for the book. Her take on the future Doctor was based on Tom Baker. Is he a young Curator, or did the Doctor revisit that face a few times?
From 'Twilight' to One Direction, the books, bands and movies popularized by young women are often regarded as less valuable.
Rose saw a photo of a man with a fantastic jaw, dressed in a tweed jacket and bow tie. Then Clive kept the sequence going; an older, angry man in a brown caretaker’s coat, holding a mop; a blonde woman in braces running away from a giant frog in front of Buckingham Palace; a tall, bald black woman wielding a flaming sword; a young girl or boy in a hi-tech wheelchair with what looked like a robot dog at their side…
Rose, the Target novelization, by Russell T Davies. (The bit where Clive is showing Rose pictures of the Doctor “woven through history”)
“When you’re dealing with something as deeply rooted as racism or bias in any society, you’ve got to have vigilance, but you have to recognize that it’s going to take some time, and you just have to be steady, so that you don’t give up when you don’t get all the way there.” -President Barack Obama
