"King Of The Hill" showrunner Saladin Patterso has extended his overall development deal with 20th Television Animation. Additionaly Saladin has inked a overall development deal with Disney Entertaiment Television.
Under the deal Saladin will create original live-action and animated series for Disney owned networks and streaming services. Patterso deal has a big emphasis on Disney Entertainment Television platforms. The deal includes Disney Branded Television for family driven projects across live-action and animation.
Saladin Patterso currently has several projects in development within Disney ecosystem across live-action, adult animation, family animation & kids live action.
The deal getting extended comes as the "King Of The Hill" revival opened to a No. 2 on Nielsen’s overall Top 10 streaming chart for its premiere week behind Netflix’s Wednesday. The new season also gave "King Of The Hill" over 1.21B views across streaming in the US. The series already has been renewed for three additional seasons with Season 15 slated to debut 2026 on Hulu and Disney+
