"I'm so happy you could be home for your birthday" you whispered as vivi's head comfortably rested on your chest, as your back laid flat against the bed and your head was supported by your arm that was placed underneath it, so that you could look at your girlfriend.

she hummed against your chest and you giggled, making your torso tremble underneath vivi, who raised her head to glance at you.

"I'm also happy to be spending my birthday at home with you" she breathed out, her hands coming up to hold her chin, her big and foxy eyes admiring your features and you could tell how much love there was in them. as much as there was in yours for her.

her sweet expression made you smile, your hand reaching out to mess up her bangs, causing her to squint her eyes and protest.

as she struggled to fix the mess you made the best she could, you couldn't help but bite your bottom lip at how incredibly stunning and breathtaking she was. maybe it was the faint light of the moon shining through your window that, illuminating perfectly her features, made her look that unbelievably gorgeous.

but no, she always looks so dreamy.

you slightly cringed at your own cheesy thought as vivi brought you back to reality by snapping her fingers in front of your face. "are you okay?" she chuckled, her finger slowly tracing down the middle of your chest.

"yep, I was just thinking about how you managed to stay awake until midnight" you teased, earning a dark look from her, which soon broke into a smile.

"you waited with me" she whispered as she returned to her initial position, snuggling closer to your body.

"true" you replied, noticing how her breathing got calm and steady, signaling that she had probably fallen asleep.

"happy birthday, love".
