Today was the first day of week 5 of the 8 week program in doing. I'm officially more than half way done! . “Trust the process.”

Those three words are something I have heard over and over again over the past four weeks. Four weeks ago I had NO IDEA what I was getting into, and I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t filled with doubt. Doubt that I would be able to stick to the nutrition, doubt that I would be able to get up even earlier to do my workouts, and doubt that I would actually see change.

It’s a funny thing, change. Especially physical change. We look at ourselves daily so we are rarely able to see how much our bodies change. This is why it is so important to take pictures, because without pictures I would have never been able to see all the changes my body has made over the past 28 days.

So as I go into phase two I am going to continue to trust the process. Are you ready to trust the process too?

Most of you know that alot of my training and weight lost was achieved in the pool. Being severely obese mobility was a major issue for me. 3 1/2 - 4 years ago I got into the pool a nonswimmer. It wasn't long before I was swimming in 13 feet of water and had gained strides in my mobility. After years of swimming and water aerobics I'm ready to balance out my sea legs with some land (floor) exercises. So as not to jump from swimming in the deep to a whole nother kind of deep, I want to start this new chapter of my journey with some simple stretch, strength and weight training exercises and build from there. Can you help me out? If you have a set of hand weights that you're no longer using (anything you've tested and tried that you believe will help me) and are willing to gift please inbox, DM, or call me.
